New Orleans doesn't have a fraction of the homeless bums Atlanta does (or maybe it does but they're not as visible or annoying). It's completely out of control....You can't check into a damn hotel in Downtown Atlanta without getting out of your car and being hassled by them.

In NOLA you can do just about anything(other than the fishing i posted about) within the city limits and a 5 minutes taxi or street car ride
Are you arguing that the French quarter isn't a shite hole?

if it takes 30 minutes to get there i don't consider it in the city
So SoHo New York isn't considered "in the city" as the Upper East side?
You can walk to everything in NOLA because it is so small

no kidding. We literally had to pay people to watch our tailgate during the SECCG 2 years ago because the fricking bums wouldn't stop trying to steal beer
We had beer stolen from my friends truck during the LSU-OM game. Quit acting like Atl is the only place with crime and panhandlers.

He's flaming, doing it stupidly (as you'd expect) and everyone is still biting.

Well considering they just had a Final Four in Detroit three years ago, I could think of a worse location.

Both have lots of black people. That's the extent of that comparison. People from shitholes like Rayville and Monroe measure a town by it's racial makeup.

its not about the city, its about what the city does for ncaa fans
when it came to st.louis, i had many NC fans tell me, it was one of their favorite final four trips.

NOLA is a kick arse city but i don't think its the best final 4 city and ATL isn't the worst.
Indy is underrated as frick

Wait a second. This is about race now?
New Orleans has a higher percentage of blacks than Atlanta does sir.

Atlanta has a little less downside and considerably less upside than NOLA. Lifelong ATL resident here.
Problem is that the best parts of Atlanta aren't too close to the Dome/Philips. I'd rather go to NOLA for the Final Four or BCS. I'd rather live in Atlanta.
