Talk to me when Atlanta is hosting the same number of sugar bowl games, bcs titles, and super bowls

And don't bring up the Olympics

They want to talk shite about lights going out during a game, I'd say something a little bigger happened on their watch

Yep.

And I can think of several worse places than Atlanta for the Final Four.

Worst major cities in the South:
3. Montgomery
2. Atlanta
1. Birmingham

Um, no. Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Shreveport, Memphis, Jackson, Houston, Little Rock, Tampa, on and on are worse than Atlanta my friend.

I hate to take the bait but...

I would hardly count Tampa as the 'South'

It's not in South Florida. I have relatives there. Who cares if they have palm trees? There are just as many Yankees in Atlanta than Tampa.

I've been there. Culturally it has very little in common with the other cities you named

When was the last time the Sugar Bowl was worth mentioning? Last year half your dome was empty.

The Olympics trumps everything FWIW

Blame fricking Florida for that, not New Orleans.

% no, but pure numbers I'd like to say yes.

Atlanta is a much larger city than Tampa ever will be.

Once the College Football Hall of Fame is completed next year, I'm sure most ATL haters will change their perception on the city.

I'm not sure what New Orleans has, but ATL is home to:
10 fortune 500 companies
the world's largest aquarium
Ted Turner
the world's busiest airport
world-class universities
CNN
Museums out the arse

So New Orleans may have culture, but ATL has money.
