I've only met two: Robert Newhouse (former RB with the Cowboys) and Steve Ott (Dallas Stars).
I attended the game in which Ott had his only NHL career hat trick, and he was signing autographs at a nearby JCPenney, so I had him sign the ticket and asked him if he remembered the game. He said, "yeah, I had a goal in that game, or two ... three". He was cool to meet (not like an arse, he leaves that for our opponents on the ice).

Cool = Johnny Unitas. Took time to compliment my buddy after a local hockey game (his grandson played on the other team). He just gushed over my buddy's play and we're both like.... you're Johnny Unitas. It was like getting encouragement from God.
Not cool = Bruce Crampton. The Senior PGA had an event in my hometown, and my dad and I went. I was on crutches at the time, and Crampton almost ran me over with his golf cart and then yelled at me. Dude, I'm on friggin' crutches... I'm slow. give me a damned break. One of the other golfers apologized for him.
