Astros lead Spring Training in being HBP

We all knew this was coming.
Is MLB going to start ejecting pitchers, or just let them get their payback for now?

This for the first month or so of the season. Then start cracking down.
Where it'll get testy is if the Astros are competitive for a playoff spot, some opposing pitcher has an errant throw that pegs Altuve, he gets ejected and it affects the outcome of the game substantially. Then the crying will start in earnest.

i'd imagine that giving one of the best teams in baseball free baserunners is not going to continue indefinitely. Eventually, teams are going to want to beat them, right?

I hope they continue through the season. Giving a bunch of free bases to a good hitting team will result in a lot of runs being scored.
Hopefully the Astros just take it and move forward, unless somebody gets hurt. If somebody gets injured, then it's time to fight (or at least stand around and push each other, like a normal baseball fight).

The Astros have been hit by 7 pitches. Four other teams have had 6 batters HBP so let's not act like they're getting plunked every time they get to the plate and lapping the field in doing so.

Cool. Give them free bases, and lose the game. I'd say 99% of athletes, in any sport (except maybe hockey) are intentionally going out and trying to hurt another athlete. I'm sure the Astros players understand that they will be hit, but if you are throwing at somebodies head, then you are crossing a line and trying to seriously hurt somebody. That won't fly.
