I've watched maybe 2 games that weren't the Saints, and I really could have gone without watching those games.

I've been watching, but not as much as in past years. The one thing that gets me is every throw to a wide receiver where they don't catch the ball they immediately get up and look for a flag. Was watching the packers giants game last sunday and every single time Jordy Nelson missed he looked for a flag. Over zealous officials will be the end of the NFL

Yes. But mostly because they restricted access to watchable games. I get Atlanta and Tennessee every week. I'm not watching either of those teams. so basically I get 2 NFL games a week, one of which is the awful MNF matchup.

way too many penalties, the overblown racial bs, kap, kneeling, pats dominating, saints sucking,
sucks right now
sucks right now

too many games are being controlled by the refs. tick tack calls that lose games. swallowing the whistle on obvious calls that teams don't get the benefit.

everytime the ball is thrown down the field I immediately look at the time/score box to see if the yellow penalty sign pops up

We need more Spread coaches to seep into the NFL
Won't happen because of QB salaries/importance. QBs who have to run to succeed get killed in the NFL.
I'm also one who would rather watch a 17-14 defensive slugfest than a 61-58 game like Baylor/TCU from a few years back

First year I don't have red zone in the last 5 years. I purposely cancelled it because the NFL sucks arse now.
Can't stand that I love the Steelers and have zero desire to watch.
I missed this week's game because I was without power and didn't care.
Glad to have Sundays to do something else

And the fact that there is a penalty every other play for some bullshite takes a lot of the fun out of it
Really does.
It ruins the flow of the game big time.

They are consistently the best team in the country. They recruit the most talent, have the best coaching staff and send more talent to the NFL than any other team. They have the best history.
Nothing stops them from getting all of the recruits they want.
So you're telling me they have the most talent, by far the best coach and among the best facilities. Very few teams come close to that and there is no part of the system that helps anyone else get there.

I've never had the desire to watch the NFL, but for some reason my desire to watch CFB is higher this season.

i don't like how ticky tack anything the defense does is a penalty these days. i don't enjoy 60 minutes of refereeing.
Every sunday i sit down thinking its time to watch football, and without fail i turn it off within an hour simply because every god damned play is a penalty. It is miserable to watch!

I hear ya. I guess what I'm saying is I'd like to see more chances being taken on the offensive end. Go for 2 or a 4th and short every once in a while. I applauded Tomlin during that Sunday night game against KC when he went for 2 after the first TD.

The penalties are what's killing it for me. It's reached a point where it's making it a pain to watch at times. At this point, Broncos games are the only ones that are must see TV for me. Winning the Super Bowl helps keep some interest.
