Earlier this year Brawl breakouts in Lake Area v Karr
Now it was totally Lake Area's faulty, & the game was halted in the 3rd quarter. No one was suspended for leaving the bench on either team.

They can appeal and will do so tomorrow morning, although I don't know the odds of this getting overturned.

Bogalusa started the fight after Amite scored, Bogulusa's benched cleared first while Amite's coaches were trying to hold the team back. Amite's benched cleared and all hell broke loose cops on horses came out on to the field to attempt to break the fight up. I know this because I was there and I have no video.

I was there also and from what I saw the Amite player scored. Something must have been said because there was pushing and shoving and the next thing you know punches started flying. Both benches cleared and even fans on the field. It got very ugly but there was a lot that lead up to the fight. I've seen a lot of high school football and have seen bad officiating but this was the worse crew that I have ever seen. This just made tensions higher. Bogalusa would have still lost this game but it would have been much closer. Secondly, with 5:00 minutes left in the game and Amite up by 30 the Amite coaching staff left all the starters in. He was still throwing the ball and clearly trying to run the score up. With 4:00 minutes left in the game is when Amite scored and all hell broke loose. This game was clearly out of reach for Bogalusa to come back. Their starting QB was hurt at the beginning of the 4th quarter and he was Bogalusa's offense. There is a time to call the dogs off. The Amite coach would have felt stupid if any of his starters would have gotten hurt at that point in the game.

Anyone who leave the bench in a fight is automatically suspended for the next game. The entire bench cleared leaving them with 0 eligible players for the next game
Would be hard to just sit there while the rest of your team is engaged.. I just this this is too harsh..

I just saw video on facebook. Cant see fight cause of shite quality. But there are about 5-10 players not across the numbers with no intention to participate.

It's bullshite that there have been numerous fights this year with video evidence and the entire teams did not get suspended. This one has no video evidence and they jump the gun and suspend the entire team.
