Brittney Griner, the America-bashing athlete that refused to appear on court for the National Anthem in the season following George Floyd’s death and who was arrested in Russia for attempting to bring hash oil for her vape into the country, just saw her situation go from bad to much, much worse.

Is this quite possibly the longest fricking sentence ever written?

It shows you how much I give a frick about Brittney Griner for me to notice this

Jesus died for our mistakes. I know it’s wrong to get some satisfaction out of this. But I can’t help feeling that way. Oh well…

Lots of people have hate. I don’t want to hate, but I can’t deny that I do at times.

I’ll also say that many on here will call someone out for hate while they do the same thing on other divisive topics.

TIME Magazine has already called her a hero in one of its editions earlier in the summer.

Why would BG be considered a hero ? On what grounds has she served someone else ? If this was lance Armstrong the liberal media would not give a frick.

I think a nine year sentence is absurd but I am all in for her serving 18 months in jail.

Hero worship makes people take strange stances. Look at the Bama fans defend Burton after he hit fans while leaving the field at Neyland.

They're not gulags anymore, this isn't the 1940s.

You just have to have a prison job to pay for your food and bedding, etc.

And not sit in your cell and play X-Box all day.

For those saying this like slavery, it is not. It is punishment for a crime committed. Is it like that of the US? No. It’s a big world out there, she’s lucky she wasn’t in Indonesia.

This post brought out the snowflake race to cast stones at whitey. Lol, melting down, and it's quite humorous

She hates America where she was oh so "oppressed".
I think it's horrible that she's doing hard time at a work camp for vaping weed but as tuned into oppression as she is, this might provide valuable first hand experience into what it really looks like

"Not gulags anymore"? Perhaps not that bad, as Stalin ran them with an iron fist. Out of the 600,000 Germans who surrendered at Stalingrad & were sent through out those Siberian gulags, less than 10,000 made it home. But where she is going is a labor camp, out in the boondocks, where, according to the many reports in Yahoo news, etc. prison thug guards run the facility. Very very poor food, atrocious hygiene, menial work 9-10 hours a day, little to almost non existent contact with the outside world. A 2-3 week trip to even get there.
