That's because this thread is full of Trashtros fans sucking off their boy Springer and continuing to be butt hurt they lost their division to the Mariners.

the Brewers were 6-0 vs the Dodgers in the regular season

Going 6-0 against a team like the Dodgers can only happen when it's not best-on-best

Ohtani and Snell however got their pound of flesh against Toronto, and Glasnow pitched well enough to win his game. 3 combined ER from your 3 starters bodes well

I was pulling for them. I saw them in the Kingdome a few times in the 90’s when they were stacked. It was a great environment. They were never “my team”, but when I was a kid, you couldn’t not like Griffey, Johnson, Edgar, etc. I rooted for nostalgia over Toronto.

Duh, makes sense.

Honestly, doing a quick comparison mano y mano I would give the Dodgers the edge at eight of the nine spots in the lineup and overwhelmingly in pitching. This could be a really non competitive 4-game sweep. And I say that detesting the Dodgers for 50-plus years (although Koufax is my favorite pitcher who ever lived).

Mariners have much better pitching than Toronto.

This is not going to be a competitive WS.

Julio takes ball four and Cal gets a chance to bat and put the M’s ahead was really what baseball needed. Hoffman said postgame, however, the main thing he was trying to avoid was facing Dump with the tying run on base. He made Julio chase a nasty sweeper and put it to bed. Great series.

Yessir. I know it was hammered home in postgame interviews and celebrations, but the Jays were a last place team last year, and look where they are now. Everyone can start trying to find their surprise team now. I’ll wait and see where Mad Max ends up and then just pick that team to make the series.

Fat Freddy from the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers. Early 70’s ‘head’ comics. A must read for anyone growing up in that time.

The Mariners made a catastrophic mistake that cost them the game when they let that guy Springer hit a 3-run homer to take the lead.
