What aren't they supposed to have 45.000 every night when they're winning 55 games?!

And with a payroll of $15 million? What is WRONG with those fans, right?

610, 790, and 1560 have had a lot of Astros talk last season (talking about the future) and this season's success

yep. i dont really understand how anyone can say "i didnt hear many astros fans the last few years." what were we supposed to do? talk about our minor league prospects? because we actually did do that

The best part of that is I have heard stros fans call into his show and try to bring it up...what did he do? Say the same thing about him living in Houston.

Sorry people were not locked into the Astros in December scona.

Not to mention Louisiana started getting the shaft right as the team went to shite. Lost the games on the radio, Fox Sports started playing Rangers on TV, then the team started tanking. It was tough to be a casual fan even though the team was only a couple hours away.

Then you add in a rebrand, a league change and a few more crappy seasons. Feels good for the team to start picking up some fans again!

Hell I pretty much tuned out the entire Ed Wade era because I knew he was a shite GM who would run us into the ground and what do you know

sorry if this isn't the right place to put this, just figured I get the most traffic in this thread.

Any of the Astros fans here have 2 extra tickets to Sunday's game?

Meh....he had to deal with Drayton holding onto all the old guys and hoping to put up 75 wins. I don't blame anything on Wade.

What's up with these sweet arse MLB logos? Do we get to keep them forever?

It was really nice to see the Astros beat the Yankees tonight.

Go Astros.

Yeah it's hard to know where the blame lies without being there firsthand for the marching orders that were given

frick it who cares. They can contend for the foreseeable future. I can't remember the last time this city had two legitimate championship contenders, mid to late 90s I guess.

That's exactly what we did.

56-106
55-107
51-111

It was fricking brutal to be an Astros fan through those years. This was after we saw franchise icons like Oswalt and Berkman traded.

I listened to the 1st few callers of the 10th inning show on the way home from work. The first guy was brining up some crap bet he had with his buddy and it pissed Matt off. 3rd guy sounded drunk.
