Less than 1 page. and we won 86 games that year.

For some reason, I can't really find threads from 2013 (I know there are some...suffered through them). The guys in the 2013 threads are the troopers.

I was a lurker for years on another site that is very proprietary to this day but not as bitchy as TCB. I would lurk DATs too but couldn't really get into the shitty streams with no TV here. I read on the team/farm far more than I actually watched the major league "product."

But that's why I just KNEW we were ready to be good this year. We got ROOT as well, so the time was right to dive into DAT even before the season.

And the season ain't ovah yet baws.

So we went out and got Scott Kazmir for a reason. Probably his best start as an Astro was at KC. He's pitched 14.1 innings there against them this year and allowed 2 runs. I think that park is well suited for him.

Kazmir?

@ Keuchel. So much for players not reading the news about them.

The only pitching question in the series is Fiers or Kazmir in Game 2.

It's risky to go with Kazmir but he may have mentally and physically needed this added rest. He did shut down KC in his first start for us there, so maybe AJ runs him out there.

I'm guessing whoever doesn't start out of Kazmir or Fiers will be available very early.

It was tough participating in these threads when you couldn't watch. I was in a few in 2012 and 2013 and then some more last year, but this is the first year I've been able to watch since FSH coverage went away.

I did not expect this to happen this year at all. I think I said 75-80 wins in our spring training prediction thread, and that they would contend the year after. Can't fricking wait for tomorrow night, plus I get to work from home Friday

Also I think Fiers style fits the park well there but if Kazmir can rediscover his stuff there's the potential he could dominate. Fiers is def the safer choice. Need a big start out of Jabroni in Game 1

No offense to Matt, but its probably hard to hear much about the Stros when you are confined to the ICU for much of your stay. And while most expected a much improved Stros team this season after last, not a ton of folks had them making it to the post season just 2 years removed from 111 losses.

McCullers on Monday for Game 4 if we don't get the sweep?

BTW, that Fiers pickup is looking better and better, given what's happened with Kazmir.
