So the announcers go on a rant about the verbal stuff from Indiana fans and how they have a history of this.....and then they throw in at the end:
"We don't know what was said."
I'm surprised they weren't like: "I think our intern in the production truck heard a slur on an arena mic."

But a) being at a WNBA game b) invested enough to taunt/point at a player then c) sitting down urgently that when ole girl comes at you and d) having it all on video and widely viewed

Big difference. There's a lot of uncomfortable data that demonstrate the difference is heavily influenced by quality of life trade offs including the risk of serious injury or death.
As an anecdote my brother in law made a substantial salary as a contractor in Iraq but the risk was something most people would have blanched to assume. Oil rig, security, and higher paid trade professionals often assume the same risk for financial return. And the work mortality and injury gap data bear that out.

She was clearly frustrated with the game and took out that frustration on some random old white guy that was simply pointing. Fans do this at every single game in every single sport and sports social media act like she did nothing wrong. “It’s just typical Indiana fans.” WNBA is a joke and the only time people pay attention to it is when shite like this happens. Even after going into the stands she won’t be suspended. We’re all just suppose to take her side when she was being a retard. That “can’t tell me shite” attitude got the best of her.

When a player acts like this and the fan is found to be within the fan conduct it should be an applied double tech to their season total and a 1 game suspension as the baseline. Able to escalate based on the circumstances, but bare minimum 1 game and 2 techs assessed to the cumulative total.
