Having had more than a week to process the Los Angeles Lakers' second-round playoff exit against the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder, LeBron James said the result came down to a talent gap between the two teams, more than anything else.
"I have the passion and the admiration to hoist a Larry O'Brien Trophy up every single year, but I also have a realization of what particular team I have been a part of in that particular year," James said in an episode of his podcast, "Mind the Game," with co-host Steve Nash released Thursday. "And understanding this year, we fought and we played to the maximum ability of our team. But ultimately, if we're being completely honest, we were out-talented."

How is this throwing his teammates under the bus when it's completely true due to their injury issues? It was amazing they even got out of the first round in the first place. You don't lose a guy like Luka and pretend "next man up" is going to work replacing that kind of production.

So do you think poor coaching was what caused the series loss to OKC?
Poor effort?
If the answer is no to those questions then is it not correct to say that OKC out taleneted them?
This is about the most benign thing to say.

That’s made its way into the lexicon for a long time now and given that it’s sports related, doesn’t need to be the queen’s English
Can’t even imagine sitting around ready to pounce on a sports term not being found in Websters

Lebron loves to try and look smart using big words that he doesn't even know the definition of.

Not surprising that you would be okay with it. You do know that it's okay to sound somewhat intelligent...you should try it sometime.
I get it might be difficult for you, but there are all kinds of books you can start with. Here's one:

It's not throwing your teammates under the bus to say the other team is simply more talented. Especially in a case like this where it's obvious to anyone with eyes.

Haha you must've really been itching for something to melt over to post this.
Is there anyone that doesn't think OKC is more talented than the Lakers?
