Yes. That was as dominant of a game as he has ever played in the playoffs. The Cavs were hopelessly overmatched in that series, but the door was open for them to steal Game 1. George Hill missing that free throw and JR's clock gaffe probably cost the Cavs any real chance they had to make that series competitive.

Roster wise, there wasn't much of a difference between the 2018 Cavs and the 2007 Cavs.

Yeah don’t clump me in with that, my guy. You brought politics and MJ into this, not me. This was me, as a Lebron fan, making an observation.

ETA: nice random liberal bashing for upvotes.

He was at 19-28 before missing his last four shots

y’all really are no different than the whack arse far left liberals

How many times have you used MJ’s passion, anger, intensity, punching teammates in the fricking face, and everything else to make an argument that he’s the man?

Y’all use the EXACT same tactics the far left does with right vs left when y’all are discussing Jordan(or anyone) and Lebron.

I truly can’t believe y’all can’t see it.

i think you may be close having a psychotic break my man.

Because I’m taken aback by the similarities between the two? There’s no way you don’t see them.

Not everything has to be left vs right political bs. Maybe stick to the poli board. Must suck to not be able to separate politics with literally anything.

How any times did MJ miss his last four shots in a champ series and then blame a team mate for the loss?

you could probably draw similarities between the left v right politics to a lot of heated situations, but doesn't mean it necessarily fits. i feel it's because you're a little too close to this situation.

i know you're a big lebron fan. and he gets a lot of hate here (some deserved, some not). hey man, i was and always will be a big kobe fan, so i understand to a degree. kobe was hated here too. but just because the MSB ribs you and a few others about LeBron doesn't make this as, i dunno, real or serious as a political aisle disagreements.

IMO of course.

What are you missing here?

I’m not “talking politics.”

I’m making a dead on comparison that we ALL can relate to bc it’s simply everywhere now. And there isn’t a better comparison on earth.

I’ll try to come up with another one but I honestly think I’d struggle to find a group with similar antics and rabid idiocy like the far left right now and Jordan fans.

It also works bc the REALLY anti Lebron guys are that way because of their political leanings(to the right).

You have to be dense af to think I’m trying to “talk politics” here.

I hear you.

But I can’t say I agree with you, or at least the last part of your post.

Disagreements are fine. I couldn’t care less if someone doesn’t think Lebron is the GOAT. These Jordan fans have twisted and turned themselves into some of the most illogical, unable to even enter the conversation mongoloids.

And they’re the same people who think that EXACT same thing about sky screamers and the media. I’m astounded at the lack of self awareness with these people and refuse to believe they can’t see it.

No. Once again, not blaming Lebron for JR’s dumb play. But he could’ve stepped up as a leader after that moment and he did the opposite. I guess it was cool with him getting swept.

I was a Lebron fan at the time and thought this way.

I think LeBron saw the same thing everyone else did when JR fricked that up. Winning that game in regulation was Cleveland's only real chance to make that series interesting.

He absolutely dragged the Warriors for all four quarters of that game and damn near stole a win on their home floor by himself. 51/8/8 on 60% shooting (including 42% from 3 and 90% from the line) was one of the all time great Finals performances, and quite frankly it was better than any game Jordan had in his Finals career. Kyrie was already in Boston at that point and Love was almost unplayable against those Warriors teams. LeBron played all 48 minutes of Game 7 of the ECF that year and played 48 minutes in that Finals game.
