Well, that depends on how you define "tend to be". I live here and there are a ton of white and Asian 49er fans. I've gone to multiple Saints=49er games and there is always a wide diversity of fans. Perhaps you tend to sit in areas of the stadium where non-white and Asian fans sit? HOw many games have you gone to? Have you been to their new stadium? When is the last time you have been in SF?

Agreed - 49ers fans are very hispanic - especially in the cheap seats. I haven't been to a game at the new stadium but I imagine it hasn't changed much.

My first Saints road game was way back in like 2001 and it was the one where we ended Steve Young's career but lost the game on a last second TD pass (actually he played the next week v's AZ but it was us who ended shite for him).

Anyway, I was college poor and was with the Hispanics up in the nosebleeds.... who were a little scary - I got the impression that they were kind of amused by a Saints fan (very rare for us to travel back then). If we were Raiders fans or Broncos fans or some other dynastic team I feel like things could have gotten real.

I also went in 2008 or so and had great seats and it was clearly very wealthy older people and it was great. So def. depends on where you sit.

Hopefully they find the perp and he is thrown in jail for 5 years.

You're talking out of your arse. Saints have some very trashy fans for sure, but I have never seen or heard of a brawl like this at the Superdome, and neither have you. Couldn't find any videos of actual fights either, but the Niners sure had a ton.

I live here and my take is that overall 49ers fans are bandwagon trash. That is regardless of color or creed.

I actually saw an old school Latino OG Raider fan tell some dressed up in spikey shoulder pads white guys to leave some fellow Saints fan and in fact told them to "pick on him". Needless to say those fools sat down quick style.

And do you guys realize that most Latinos in CA are from Mexico and thus not likely to be MS-13? I guess its the cool thing to say.

I go there at least 3-4 times a year. My wife is from San Fran & a Latino of Mexican descent. She agrees & approves of my statement. She & all of her friends refuse to go to 49ers games unless they are in a suite & warn everyone not to wear opposing teams gear. I am pretty sure I know what I am talking about.

You were lucky. I know two separate people that had problems including a young lady that was surrounded by 3 Hispanic female trash bags in the women's bathroom and nearly jumped for wearing a Saints jersey. She was pushed down but luckily a few other people broke it up and got her out of there.
