March 28, 1999. Shaq embarrassed Chris Dudley so bad that his kid's kid's kids will have to live with it. Bullied under the rim, dunked all over and shoved to the ground. Shaq pissed Dudley off so much that he threw a fastball at Shaq, who could have snapped him like a twig but he had to try and save some of his dignity after that

With a name like Dudley it couldn’t have been scripted better.

Not NBA, but worth a look.

No, the one a couple of weeks ago where the guy somehow dislocated his finger when he barely touched the rim was better.

Mild respect for Dudley for repeatedly yelling “Fuk you” at Shaq after the dunk haha

A little spice from the ivy league guy

That shove at the end was a dick move by Shaq. What's the backstory there?

Apparently, Duddley was a known womenizer according to his teamates. Duddley and the boys were in Vegas one night when Shaq and his crew were as well. Everybody was friendly but they had this one fine piece of arse that both of them wanted. Duddley with his charm was able to secure the girl that night. Shaq doesn't like losing so what you see on the court is how Shaq got revenge. Towards the end of the clip you can see Duddley mouthing "I got the girl, frick YOU". Duddley will go down as a legend for that if you are in the know, but what you see is Shaq winning with the infamouse Dunk as that is all the people remember.

If this is true… big if…. That is EXCELLENT.

Of course Worm Rodman is standing right there. Dude was always around the action.

Also from the Chris Dudley file:

quote:

In October 2018, it was reported that Dudley and current United States Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh were in a bar fight in September 1985,[36][37][38][39] which involved throwing ice and a drinking glass at a man whose physical appearance was allegedly similar to that of Ali Campbell of UB40.[40][41] Through an article published in The Guardian, Campbell wrote that whomever Dudley and Kavanaugh fought was not him, and that he was not at the bar that night.[40]

If you consider the possible reactions he could have chosen, there weren't many good options.

Getting up, throwing the ball all the way down court (because Shaq just sent you into the first row and it took you 10 seconds to get up) and pretending you are pissed wasn't great...but what would have been better?

What he did was probably best reaction he could have done. Nobody would have stopped Shaq on that dunk. He got pushed and “embarrassed” but at least reacted, threw the ball at him, and cussed him. Outside of whooping Shaq’s arse (wouldn’t happen) not much else you can do. I like Shaq but shove was chicken shite

That video is a reminder that the NBA was once fun to watch.

Chris Dudley probably got dunked on a lot, but I bet Shawn Bradley has more really embarrassing dunks on him.

Top 10 Dunks On Shawn Bradley on YouTube

The one with Robert Pack is funny because of the height difference. Bradley got dunked on by guards in lots of games.

The McGrady dunk was on TNT, at home, in the Playoffs.

If you watched the replay, Dudley was grabbing Shaq's legs while he was falling down. Shaq could have gotten seriously hurt landing on Dudley's body or awkwardly on the floor if he hadn't shoved Dudley out of the way.

Shaq does have the most impressive dunk I've seen in college. Off a fast break, someone takes a medium jumper that goes off the back of the rim and goes up.... Camera zoomed in on the ball and it goes over the outstretched hands of the other players ... Then out of seemingly no where this massive hand came into frame...and takes the ball that others couldn't reach and slams it. I remember looking at my dad and both were in awe. ...he was so an athlete

ETA ... Steve Francis has the best dunk I've seen in the NBA
