JGR cars were faster but I think Larson wins that race if he doesn’t drop those two spots on the second to last stop.

Even the cars behind him motored by him, all Toyotas. They have something extra. Larson was wheeling his car before that yellow.

Whoever is head of Ford Racing is a fool if they let him get away. He's shown he can content in decent equipment.

Hocevar is really turning into an arse. He wrecked Kes twice in one corner.

He's awakened a long doormant monster. Kez was a mf in his younger days.

Toyota was penned in to win it all in the backroom deal. Just a matter of who. Whatever Nascar gave them they likely informed teams to throttle back the past few months as it was so obvious. Chase starts and they ran away except some troubles and strategies. 5 of top 6 in standings are Toyota.

Blaney’s old pit crew beat his new pit crew by 3 hundredths of a second on average pit stop time for the race.

Both end up in the top 10 on the averages chart.

Seth Eggert
@SethEggert91

With a 7th-place finish, @joshberry becomes the 1st driver to earn 6 consecutive top-10 finishes for @woodbrothers21 in consecutive starts since David Pearson in 1976, and the 1st in consecutively scheduled races since Marvin Panch in 1964!

Carson has no respect for the champion. Ask Chastain how that worked out.

I saw that. Hope he can keep rolling with some good finishes. The pressure will be on Jesse Love getting in that car.

1. Berry is quickly climbing in his points position. You love to see it.

2. Carson Hocevar’s nonchalance is getting old. Be a hard racer and outspoken in post race interviews, but don’t be a complete jerk when it comes to ruining someone else’s race. I’m team Brad on this one.

I’m not sure how much love can squeeze out of that 21. We shall see.

I think this is a 1+1 for Berry. He needs to prove this is who he really is.

Hocevar is just annoying. SVG was on stacking Pennies today. He said Carson needs a father figure at the track.

Who would Carson listen to? I know he idolized Dale Jr. growing up, but I don’t see Jr. having that tough conversation. Jr. tries to keep the peace and make everybody happy. He doesn’t ruffle feathers.

Apparently Jeff Dickerson is the only guy he listens to.

I like the move. Legacy is the weakest of the Toyota teams but I feel they will eventually be a contender in the next few years. Berry has to prove himself but I feel he will have more resources now.

Adam Stern from Sports Business Journal just retweeted a story in a Dutch outlet that said officials at Zandvoort would like to have a NASCAR or Indy race there to replace the Dutch Grand Prix. Said the money isn’t there at present but I can hear the cogs in Steve O’Donnell’s head turning now.

Really tight 2.6-mile road course.

They’re giving up the Grand Prix because the cost to hold it … $81 million for the weekend … has become more than they can handle given that they are a privately funded operation. I bet even with transporting the cars NASCAR would be a cheaper date.
