NASCAR could do that for less than half. And they could make it work in season if they wanted to. Run a sprint/longer race format in a weekend and it could be feasible.
Promoter should subsidize the series for this. Teams shouldn’t be on the hook for travel.

I don’t think so. Elevation. Banked turns. Would only have 2-3 passing zones, but I think it works. Surface is abrasive, so tire management would be crucial too.
I think there are better options out there. But I like zandvoort as an opportunity.
I think phillip island, donington park, Fuji, Hampton downs, Red Bull ring, interlagos, Kyalami, would all be better options. But if zandvoort can come up with $40 million for nascar, I say do it.

I think f1 cars are wider now. I wouldn’t say it’s too narrow.

I’ve never seen a stack up on pit road quite like that. It sent Sanchez, Burton, and the 51 to the garage while others got significant or light damage.
I don’t understand how the 7 team was a beast in the regular season but start making stupid mistakes in the playoffs. Allgaier and the 7 team are going to choke this championship away unless they start performing better.

The 7 pit crew has cost Allgaier a position or two every single pit stop.

Sawalich just took Day out in retaliation from last weekend. Damage to the 18 and the 7

Sawalich is a big pussy and deserves to be suspended.
However, to foster rivals he needs to “not” receive penalties. I hate what he did to Day. He’s another punk with a purchased ride.
But if he is penalized that means we don’t see Kes take action on Hocevar. And we need to see that. Otherwise its just going to be no personalities.
He deserves parked for races. But in interest of rivalries we need to let it go and let drivers work it out.
Also, Kes is smart and win’t retaliate today. He’ll wait til its a better time. All the focus is on that and he knows. He’ll play nice today but he will get payback in another race.

Day had wrecked out Sawalich at least 3 times this year (Daytona, COTA, and Darlington) and had messed with him all year. Granted, Allgaier nudged Day into Sawalich last night and heightened tensions after Day initially drove into him, but how much more was Sawalich supposed to take? I understand his frustration.
Day should’ve raced around Sawalich very conservatively last night after what happened in Darlington, but he chose not to and ultimately paid the price. Sawalich is already pissed so don’t give him a reason to ruin your chase.
I hope there are no penalties or suspensions as well. Day had this one coming for a long time, and this is coming from someone who prefers Day over Sawalich. You can’t ruin someone’s day over and over whether purposely or not and not expect payback.
