Yup... Him and George are two peas in a pod. Both upper mid-tier drivers who can't get out of their own way

I'm not familiar with F1's rules on breaking contracts early though.
Why would they need to break his contract? Does his contract guarantee him a car, or guarantee him a spot as a Red Bull driver? If they decided to relegate Perez back and move up Ricciardo, they are both still 'under contract' to Red Bull.

Yeah the contract is with the Red Bull drink company, not the racing team. Which is why they can rotate the drivers.

Depends on the contract. Could be either.

Even so, would just be a financial buyout to end the contract. Doubtful Perez had the clout to force a guaranteed ride in the Red Bull car. Allegedly his contract had a clause that has him racing for free this year because of how far behind in pts. Allegedly.

That would be wild if so. He’s still 2nd overall in driver standings.

As with any sport, you can get out of any contract with money, that is unless Checo has some sort of performance clause where Horner can get Marko to break Checo's unfocused Mexican legs if Checo doesn't get within X positions of Max in the WDC.

I found the World Destructor's Championship on reddit. Sargeant leads by a LARGE amount

LINK

he has far exceeded his salary in destruction.

altho, take these #s with a grain of salt, we all saw Checo break two front wings in Japan, not one.

Look, he sucks but Logan Sargeant has never taken a wrong turn on the track and blamed the car.

I mean, I love that so much I feel like Williams would take a complete doofus wrong turn mistake than what Sargeant did yesterday. But yea, neither are good.

I still think Logan can be something, Latifi had 3 years and was every bit as arse in his last race as he was in his first.

It doesn't help that Albon has probably been one of the most impressive drivers this year in a supposedly difficult car to drive. Maybe a lot of drivers would have struggled in that car.

He’s gotta score at least a point or two. That Williams is no longer the joke back marker it used to be.

I feel like Marko attempting to break Checo's unfocused Mexican legs would probably result in more physical pain to Marko than Checo.

Marko doesn't actually do the breaking. He's too old to do that now. He has goons that do that for him.

Checo would probably just crash into them too.

It appears the F1 grid is getting bigger. Andretti had a successful bid according to Rodin Cars, the team that was denied.

I didn't think it was possible to bring another team in. I'm happy they weren't forced to acquire one of the existing 10 teams. I hope they can be a mid pack performer soon.

Andretti was the only team bid that was approved by the FIA. It sounds like F1 still wants to resist it. I just don't know if they can. Supposedly they might be falling afoul of some EU laws if they try.

F1 and the teams are concerned that an 11th team would “dilute” the sport or cost the existing constructors crucial prize money.

However, due to an EU sports law regarding participation in motorsport events, F1 might find it difficult to find enough reasons to reject Andretti.

The majority of the parties against Andretti from joining F1 are linked to financial reasons rather than the benefit of the sport.

Given Andretti’s rich motorsport history and engine partner General Motors, there’s few grounds for F1 to reject them, particularly as they’ve progressed through the FIA’s stringent process.

Are there enough pit stalls at all venues?
