Sounds like dont want an American team that can actually compete and beat that arse.

It's gonna happen. I'm sure of it. And I can't wait.

There have been more than ten teams on the grid in the past. Catalunya definitely had empty pits.

I'm honestly against this... Some of the tracks are already crowded AF when it comes to quali and the likes.
Kick one of the shite players out that can't compete.
Haas, Alfa...

If we're voting for teams to kick off the grid, I vote AlphaTauri...

Listened to the Race podcast, they aren’t sure how committed Renault is to keep going with Alpine. Maybe they get out now while the team is highly valued. Maybe Andretti buys.

That's a good podcast. Mark Hughes is great.

It appears the F1 grid is getting bigger. Andretti had a successful bid according to Rodin Cars, the team that was denied
FIA approved the team, did F1 approve them? Because that is the approval that seems unlikely.

Funny you say that, listened to the Adrian Newey episode on Beyond the grid and he talked about how Carlos Ghosn told them he didn’t care about F1 back in 2014 when their engines sucked in the red bulls.

Would explain the turmoil at the helm of Alpine/Renault.
There were always whispers that Renault were lukewarm on F1, but if there is a lot of truth then being team pricipal and not having support would kill anyone.
Renault should always be remembered for giving us the V6 hybrid and budget cap. They had a heyday, but the last 15 years they have been annoying.

I'm not sure what's more annoying, French management, or Italian management.

A large European Factory Works team should have better results it would seem. I don't know where Aston Martin ends up but Lawrence is sure trying to do it. Renault just seems to flounder around the middle.

Bump for race week in Qatar. Sprint race weekend
The sprint and the GP will be on at the same time as football (1230 sprint, 1200 GP)

I prefer max clinching his third title in the sprint over LSU football these days.

Two sprint weekends in a row. Hope there’s something interesting that comes from Qatar to lead up into USGP.
Aston Martin improvement or McLaren/Ferrari win.

New info coming out in the 2026 Formula.
Cars 4" narrower and 8" shorter.
40% less downforce is the estimate. Although we will see how that does.

Edit: Make them whatever size they need to be to make Monaco an interesting race when it isn’t raining

Andretti application approved by FIA. No one else was approved.
Now it goes to Formula 1, who are expected to shoot it down.
ETA...this is F1's immediate response:
“We note the FIA’s conclusions in relation to the first and second phases of their process and will now conduct our own assessment of the merits of the remaining application.”
