Complete bullshite Perez is allowed to re-enter the race just to keep from having to carry the time penalty forward

Ham has scored 16 more points than the Mex since Monaco in a car that is often 1 sec per lap slower.
Serg is an embarrassment.

How does that work with his weigh-in/out?
Dude got out the car and then came back and got back in. Can any driver do that? I guess it is the same as a red flag, but that seems open for exploitation.
Also, how does a penalty carry over? Seems like it should have just been added to his "time" like every other 5 second penalty.

I would just like to see another driver in that car one time. Checo was a second slower in the first sector during one session this weekend. I think my truck could do better than that

Yuki or ricc get promoted into Checo’s seat after next year, Liam takes the AT seat.

In the cool down room after the race when they showed the Mex drive into KMag you could hear Max say "interesting..."

That was hilarious. I wish they'd give more time in the cool down room. I love that part of the broadcast.

Piastri was like a wide-eyed kid in there, not sure what to say or do.

I really like your perspective. Can you can the Mex and Jap talk? We’re way past that as a society.

We talking top 5 on skill alone or w/ car? Think they are two different lists at this point.
Alonso would be top 5 on skill and abilities, but his car hss been shite the back half of the year, so not a top 5 w/ car.

Another good race. imo. Three good races in a row for the first time this year.
I'm not a Checco fan but I had been giving him the benefit of the doubt for some of his bad races/qualifying this year but man that was a bad race. Dude looked like a rookie fill in racing. I don't think red Bull let's him go, but I could understand why they would. I'm not familiar with F1's rules on breaking contracts early though.
Logan Sargeant is officially worse that Latifi. He is just a terrible driver my goodness. Would love to see Williams snatch up Lawson.
Aston Martin has come down to earth like I figured they would. I didn't think there was any way they could sustain the success they were having early in the year. Or I didn't see that car staying as good as it was. I think too that Stroll might be the second worst driver out there right now.
Alfa Romeo is wasting one of the best looking cars I've seen. I mean that car is beautiful. It's a shame it's constantly at the back and doesn't get shown off.

Look, he sucks but Logan Sargeant has never taken a wrong turn on the track and blamed the car.
I knew the bar was low for Latifi when in his very first race(Austria 2020) he came in P11 and in the post race interview he said something to the effect of "if you'd have told me I'd be P11 in my first ever Grand Prix I wouldn't have believed you". Almost insinuating he was this close to scoring points. Except, he was still dead last. 9 other cars DNFed that race, there were only 11 finishers.
I still think Logan can be something, Latifi had 3 years and was every bit as arse in his last race as he was in his first.

On just skill... that tough. 3 are easy IMO
Max
Lewis
Fernando
Carlos?
Lando?
Oscar? (if you're gonna say Lando, he has to be close... running right with him and only being in car half year. First time at Suzuka and podium)
We almost need to tier them

Close call between Sainz and LeClerc imo
Piastri is on his way but still too new to put him top 5 imo

Leclerc has the same issue as George. He has brilliant moments interrupted by bonehead mistakes.
