Lame. At least there's still a possibility for Sargeant since he played by the European's rules and dumped a ton of money into their feeder series.

So both Haas cars have 15 place grid penalties, but move up the grid.

How is 10P+Back better than Back?

I guess once you are back you are just back.

If he stays clean through the first couple turns he should be good. Alonso isn't going to fight him.

Max just needs to survive the first lap. At this point finishing in the points is more important than a win.

At this point, it really doesn’t matter. He could DNF 4 of 8 races and still be in the lead.

When I learned of the grid penalties on Thursday I get a little on LeClerc at I think +275 and Russell at +700.

Qualifying went well.

So Max is the easy favorite to win the race again tomorrow? It's hard to root against the Red Bull and that Honda engine at the back of that car.

It seems to be speculated that RB will have better pace and tire deg with high fuel loads since they'll have more downforce. Guess we'll see. I just hope we get a clean lap 1 and watch the mixed up grid go to work.

lap 13/30 in F2 - winning at The Temple of Speed matters at every Level

Jehan Daruvala wins it...

Leclerc is probably the actual favorite, but RBR is pretty realistic. Leclerc will get the benefit of pulling away on the first couple laps and may build up a pretty good buffer.
