Mercedes getting their shite together is good news for RBR this year. Siphon points off of Ferrari. shouldn't be long before they catch up to ferrari in the constructors.

but there's no denying Hamilton's steady results.
This is what separates the champions from others. Max and Lewis are so consistent, they just pound out lap after lap and rarely make a mistake. Now Max has been racing since he was 17 so Leclerc definitely still has time to develop that consistentcy as Max used to do the dumbest shite too.

At this point RB has zero concerns about Ferrari.

At this point, I don't think RBR has any concerns about Ferrari or Mercedes.
Up over 100pts. It would take Ferrari level incompetence and bad luck for them to not take driver and constructors this year.
The interesting thing will be RBR, Ferrari, and Merc next year.

That graph makes me reflect on, what if George hadn't of gotten out of the car to check on Zhou. What a pivotal moment in the 2022 season.
Makes me think think about how bad Ferrari has botched things given how fasts their cars are. Sainz should comfortably be in 3rd and LeClerc should be fighting for first.

It would be a feat to lose this lead.
Unless the new floor regulations cause several DNFs I don't see things changing.
There was some discussion that Perez' pace this weekend was due to the new floor/plank loopholes being closed. Not sure how much truth that has, certainly would think Newey can figure out any issues.

Adam Cooper says McLaren has informed Ricciardo that they want him out next year. Sounds like his contract guarantees him a seat, so they'll have to negotiate a buyout, but I assume he's done at McLaren.

So does Ric go back to Alpine? Race with Albon at Williams? Only other option is alpha tauri if they don’t extend Yuki rite?

Apparently Haas has suspended contract talks with Mick (per Reddit anyway), probably nothing, doubt there’s many suitors for him, but in the spirit of silly season it’s fun to speculate

So Haas either has another driver or Mick has another team.

i think they're giving mick the boot. sounds like zhou and tsunoda will be out too.
as for oscar, he wasn't going to publicy rebuke alpine if he didn't have mclaren lined up. should make that midfield battle even more interesting next year.
and i thought silly season was going to be lame this year.

Depends on if Alpine think they are right on the Piastri contract.
They fight it and win....
Piastri to Alpine
Danny to Haas (or AT to wait for Perez)
Mick to Alfa if Zhou is really gone (maybe Williams?)
Mclaren left holding the bag and we get an American from Indy....or Mika ends his sabbatical

It’s believed that Piastri’s ability to walk away from Alpine is based on a claim that his 2023 deal with the team was never properly signed. The July 31 date – widely believed to be related to an option the team had on him – is understood to have no special relevance.
The dispute looks set to go to the Contract Recognition Board, although there is also some question of whether or Alpine actually lodged a contract with the CRB that covered 2023.
It has emerged that McLaren began to explore the possibility of hiring Piastri several weeks ago as it looked for possible replacements for Ricciardo.
McLaren seems confident they can work it out.

Zhou surprises me. He's seemed solid and has had some very bad luck in a few races.

Sounds like the claim of July 31st has no relevance because the whole contract is irrelevant.
Not just the 31st clause.
Not just the 31st clause.
