think williams has realized all the money latifi brings is no longer worth the crappy results.

I'm willing to bet Dorilton Capital may have other ways of raising cash without giving up a driver's seat who consistently finishes in the bottom 5.

Mattia Binotto insists there is no need to change anything at Ferrari this summer despite Sunday’s Hungarian Grand Prix again being overshadowed by some questionable strategy calls on the Scuderia pit wall.
Ferrari’s Championship hopeful Charles Leclerc qualified in third place and led halfway through the race, but finished down in sixth after switching bizarrely to the hard compound tyre
Binotto says nothing needs to change at Ferrari

i am guessing he doesn't want to trash his team in the press. behind closed doors i'd hope he's ripping arse, because their strategy is god awful.

Not recognizing the major strategy issues and not working to change them means we can assume they will continue to keep botching races.

Mattia Binotto is the Joe Alleva of Ferrari

Danny Ric - ESPN
Couple things...
Despite his struggles this year and last he will not be short of suitors. ESPN knows of four different teams who contacted him over the past two weeks to assess where his head is at.
It reflects very poorly on Brown and McLaren how they have treated Ricciardo over the past six months. Ricciardo, the only McLaren driver to have won an F1 race since 2012,

I'm a RIC fan so definitely have some bias, but Mclaren has done him no favors.
Ferrari was ripped this weekend for putting Leclerc on hards, but Mclaren did the same thing to RIC long after we all knew how shite they were.

Ricciardo seems like a good dude, but he has done himself no favors with his results. He's got 8yrs of experience more than Norris and he struggles to barely match lando.
This isnt the weekend karting series. Im really surprised they havent put more pressure on him actually.

danny ricc is getting paid way too much to produce these results when compared to his teammate. Sounds like Williams and Alpine will be his primary suitors.

The version I heard:
Car careens down a hill, the brakes fail and it crashes into a tree.
Engineer: Disassemble the brakes and try and discover why they failed.
IT: Push it back up the hill and see if it crashes again.
PS: 31 years in IT :)

And only won due to the rest of the field imploding… Lando should have won last year if not for his idiocy with the wets. Dude consistently out performs Ric.
And I’m a Ric fan.

Why is Lewis Hamilton so fast?
Hamiton vs Russell comparison from Hungary. Video shows how Russell still has so much to learn from the master.

These past 5 races have shown that Lewis was slower than Russell in the early races because he was experimenting with setups and parts on his car in the first part of the season. Ever since Canada, which was his last experiment, Lewis has been driving like an animal and has been faster then George.

Over the last six races Hamilton has had the 2nd best results on the grid. After Monaco Hamilton had a 66 point deficit to Leclerc in P2. After Hungary Hamilton now has just a 32 point deficit to Leclerc in P2. Obviously part of that has been reliability and team dumbassery issues with other teams, but there's no denying Hamilton's steady results.

They were never going to not figure it out. They have too much money and experience to be bad for an extended time frame. Love him or hate him, Toto knows how to run a race team.

That graph makes me reflect on, what if George hadn't of gotten out of the car to check on Zhou. What a pivotal moment in the 2022 season.
