Agreed, I was happy for him to get the Merc seat because he's clearly one of the best drivers on the grid, but he's becoming insufferable with the whining. He hasn't accomplished shite yet to think he runs the track

Ferrari tolerates zero disloyalty in the media. "Never go against the Family."

Honda is the same way. Don't diss them in public. Alonso burned his bridge when he compared the Honda to a GP2 engine, although to be fair he didn't say it to the press, he said it on the radio, but it went viral.

I don't remember why Valentino Rossi and Honda had a falling out, but it seemed to be understood that he would never go back to Honda.

Yeah Russell has come off as a douche a lot of times this season… always thought he was better than that. Guess being in the Merc gives you an entitlement complex.

Checko should have stayed out he was P3 and might have given LH a fight for 2. Yes, he had a 5 sec penalty coming for bad release but the 2 behind him might have fought enought to get ahead by more than 5 secs. Had he passed LH he would have lost it afterwards but had a chance at P3 still.

Honda seemed to think it was all the bike and wrote a new contract for rossi and said sign it by the end of the day. He said GFY and went to Yamaha, the equivalent of moving from red bull to Williams, and kicked Hondas arse the next year.
In F1 its 80-90% the car but in motogp the rider matters alot more as Fabio Quartararo has shown for 2 years. His teammates can't break the top 15 but he runs at the front every race.

I haven't watched MotoGP the last few years, but I remember when Casey Stoner was the only guy who could handle (and dominate with) the Ducati. I was reminded of that when Max went through a series of teammates who couldn't get close to him. The cars are designed around the needs of the #1 driver, so it's somewhat understandable if the #1 driver has an unusual driving style. I seem to remember that Michael Schumacher liked a car that was more oversteery than most other drivers.

Alonso won WDC with two cars that were allegedly near death traps for anyone else who touched them.

the Ducatis have been ridiculous the last 5-6 years with their straight line speed in motogp, motoamerica and WSBK. somehow Quartararo drags his pig of a Yamaha up to the front more often than not. Its the same old inline 4 versus vtwin that's gone on for years

It's getting harder for me to like him, but I still feel some sort of attachment to him.

George has a lot of PR in him, but also seems like one of the most likeable people outside of the track.

I don't know what more humilty you want from him. At least he gives his honest take on things then admits he is wrong when he sees it.

It’s actually mind boggling how they can be so good at building a car at this level but can’t get simple strategy concepts down.

The Ferrari team went to the Les Miles school of 2-min offense to learn their trade.

I'm brand new to F1 over the past couple of months.

I can say from an unbiased viewpoint that currently I think basically all the drivers think they they did nothing wrong and everyone else is wrong, and they whine about it. I don't blame them, virtually everyone thinks they've done no wrong in the heat of the moment in athletics.

Some dudes get more radio quotes put out on the air, so those dudes probably are thought of as whining more but we really just hear it more.

Unfortunately for Ferrari they don't luck into good results like Les Miles often did after making bad decisions.

It's almost impossible to know when you're in the car who's fault it really was. I've blamed people during a race for wrecking me and then watched the replay and had to apologize. I try to keep my mouth shut these days, unless I know it was my fault and then apologize immediately.

But it is really hard to tell. Things happen just insanely fast and you have such limited visibility.

HAAS decision makers need drug tested. Worked up to an advantageous position then instead of staying out during caution (knowong they had to stop again) they bring them in and destroy their race. Idiots in that group, have cost them so many points this year!

They were on a two stop the entire time, they got fricked by the Yellow, so they needed to change the tires a 2nd time so they did it again

Of course they all complain, but Russell comes off like a whiny little girl with the way he complains. Verstappen comes off like a psycho, one is entertaining, one is annoying.

And I'm not even a huge Verstappen guy, but there's no doubt the dude is an absolute killer. He'll push it to the absolute limit where as Russell comes off like a guy that will wilt and then complain about it after

I’m an anybody but Merc person, but am tired of RB… would like to see Ferrari doing better. Was really hope for McLaren this year, but they shite the bed.

Alonso has showed promise in the Alpine, but ocon has been his Ricciardo
