Sagan should get it back tomorrow. The intermediate sprint has a nasty little hill right before it. Bennett with his first win correct of a stage?

I think Sagan misses out on the green jersey this year.

This was a terrifying stage. Road furniture left, right, and center throughout the course.

Has Hirschi turned the computer mount into the new spinaci?

My hands are usually just hanging out in the air. I may look for a longer more sturdy (metal) computer mount. It would give me more control and allow me to get my hands much more aero. I love riding with my elbows on the bars but the lack of control limits the types of pavement I will ride in that position.

i have a syncross mount on my scott addict that mounts to the front plate in the integrated cockpit. it sticks out much farther than my old k-edge mount that just wraps around the bars.

after seeing hirshi use his computer/mount as a kind of shorty aero bar, i tried it myself today. it is like having a little aerobar out there. kind of want to try it with a garmin 830 instead of my 530 to see if that makes a difference too.

Several large crashes already

During the first crash Nicolas Roche just laid there in an awkward position, I thought he was dead for a half-second.

He also lost a sentimental bracelet in the crash so if any of you baws find it let him know.

A fun stage to watch. I suspect the green jersey will be in doubt till Paris. If I remember correctly peter Sagan usually had the green jersey wrapped up by now.

possible Sagan and Van Aert drama.

Sagan maybe a little too aggressive. I understand, he's going for green but Van Aert was right with the "frick you" I'm going for stage win.

The way Sagan moved him over was so masterful.

Sagan relegated to last. Chase for 8th green jersey is likely over now barring abandonment from Bennet.

I wonder if they'll DQ Sagan from the stage for the head push. I hope not, but I can totally see them doing it. Rubbing is racing.

His green jersey chase will likely be over if he gets hit with the DQ

I don't think DQ. That was clean aggressive sprinting IMO.

If Van Aert goes over and takes Bennett off his line maybe then Sagan would get hit.

Also, Sagan is one of if not the most popular rider. They don't won't that drama.

Yep no word on DQ before the broadcast ended. They pointed out right before they went off air that the gap was too small if Sagan didn't make space for himself. Clean imo.

They tossed him before on a pretty shady call in 17 or 18 stage 5

Is that the one where he elbowed maybe Cavendish into the fence taking out a few riders? That's totally different than the minor bump today though.
