When does Quintana tease us all with a fake attack only to sit up to blow any shot he has at podium spot? I say in the Alps and then the ITT he will just blow it for certain

Pinot and Alaphilippe now eliminated from GC contention.. already
Alaphilippe started to attack and then.. ded.
19 minutes down. Ball game. Now he switches to winning stages I guess

Pinot just can’t make three weeks without something finding him out. Shame. Pogacar looked good today clawing back some time. Nice group of riders still looking good. Long way and things change fast.

If you haven't listened to The Move today it has a great story from Brian Holm he is a former rider with Telekom and is the director sportif of Quick-Step.
If you just want to see the portion and not watch the whole thing it is about hugs and congratulations and starts about 10:55 if this doesn't link to the time correctly.
YouTube The Move
Mr Holm

So if someone test positive from Covid it automatically ends the race right?
Think I remember it being if any 2 people on a team/staff test positive, you go home.

What a ride down by Hirschi
Roglic stays in yellow all the way to the champs élysées?
Jumbo looked like Sky on that last climb with the American Kuss leading the charge

frick, would have been a great story if he won that sprint after getting caught with a mile to go.

Been playin in the woods most of the weekend. Will update OP tonight!

Hirschi could become a new Canchelara Allaphillipe type can win everything but the HC and fun to watch. I get the feeling the American from Jumbo will be like Hincapie and Powless will end up being the star

I absolutely hate they took away the other flower hottie for some dude. WTF Frenchies

I wonder if Hirschi's director screwed it up for him. He may have told him he was the strongest sprinter and it caused Hirschi to go about 50m too early. Hirschi's descending was epic.
The Slovenians are STRONG this year.
I love how the biggest move of the tour so far was during a commercial break, at least it was a side by side.
Kuss put in a hell of a pull today.
Looking at the profiles before the race I would never have guessed today would have been the most exciting prior to the rest day.
Crossing my fingers we have clean COVID tests across the peleton tomorrow.

After I asked about the Covid test I looked it up The UCI is allowing the organizers make the decision and not auto eliminate teams. So let’s see how they play this.

Has Hirschi turned the computer mount into the new spinaci?
My hands are usually just hanging out in the air. I may look for a longer more sturdy (metal) computer mount. It would give me more control and allow me to get my hands much more aero. I love riding with my elbows on the bars but the lack of control limits the types of pavement I will ride in that position.

He rode an aero bike in a skinsuit on a cold mountain stage. I hate he didn't win. Updating the OP now.
Sucks some GC and crowd favorites like Pinot and Alaphalippe are eliminated from GC contention after week one...but it is 2020...I seriously thought Pinot waa going to quit the Tour yesterday and then again today..yet is still ahead of Julian and some other big names. Rest day strategy is going to be interesting. It IS 2020 after all. JumboV is looking Invincible as a team but Ineos is Ineos and they have the 'science', money and power. SO we'll see.
