I was thinking likable from the fan standpoint but agree that he was not liked by some competitors - especially when he was In his prime.

Damn you CBS. I normally wouldn't have any issue with Champ winning this but if you are going to gush social consciousness all over my television all day long while you cover him it is going to make me root against him. Not because of anything he has done but solely because I am tired of being preached to and having this crap piledriven down my throat everywhere I turn when all I want to do is watch golf and be entertained.
