I'm thinking that the Pels want KJ, but Rockets will match anything that the Pels can offer outright (either the BAE or whatever is remaining from the MLE post Dante). Pels could offer QPon's great deal (and sure thing solid rotational play) in a S&T. Could be good for both teams. Rockets get a sure thing while they compete and Pels get higher potential when AD nears his peak in 3 or 4 years.

McDaniels has been in the league one year, Rockets do not own Bird Rights, they don't exist yet in his case.

I'm indifferent to Jordan's decision. He isn't and never will be a player worth max money, his offensive game is too limited and the second his athleticism declines he has nothing else to lean on.

Do you ever worry that Dallas has been run terribly since Cuban got there though? Dirk is one of the best players ever, and they didn't surround him with the right talent quite often. Not hanging on to Nash? I'm just not sure Cuban is very good at this.
