What’s nice about basketball is every once in a while it reminds you just how important being really tall is.

Pretty easy unless you've started a million threads on this board. Go to search, and search "my topics on this board" and just scroll through the pages.

I don't like ranking guys that have such a physical advantage over everybody else. Physically he towers over everyone and can move well for that size. That's special for sure but I wouldn't rank him best or at the top because his physical size gives him so much of an advantage.

Guys that are similar size and put up crazy points becuase they work and practice hard to get that edge are the ones Id prefer at the top.

It is way too early to predict his position in the greats list. He will have a hard time staying healthy unless he gets some muscle on him. But physically he is a freak.

As far as Lebron, I'd take Kobe over Lebron.

He was given the benefit last night on some fouls.
He set up a pick on a 6-7" guy pushed him in the back as he went by, bending the guy over as Wemby breaks for the basket.

They lob the ball to Wemby, the defender had his hand on his chest as he jumps up to grab ball and he flops back to the ground and they call the push off foul on the defender. But yet he is allowed to push somebody in the back while running a pick using the guy to push off of to help him get to the basket fastener.

I got caught listening to First Things First yesterday while on the road. Those guys were saying if OKC wins the title, there is a decent case for SGA at #3 all-time PG (behind Magic and Steph) or SG (behind MJ and Kobe) and top 10 all time players. Blasphemy?

I'd have to think about it (Lebron isn't a SG, mind you) but 2 MVPs and 2 titles would be big for his legacy. The longevity at his current peak is the question in that debate. His peak level is VERY high historically for 1s

LeBron shouldn't be that high. If he wouldn't have started in the NBA out of H.S. and played the 36 years of pro ball, his stats wouldn't be that great.

You know, looking at some all time lists, point guard isn't super strong after Magic, Steph, and the Big O.

Then you have like Stockton, Westbrook, Nash, Cousy, CP3, etc. and SGA would definitely have an argument above all of them.

If Wemby stays on track, he will get there. But for now….

1. Jordan
2. Kobe
3. Duncan
4. Shaq
5. Nowitzki

Sadly the same ppl were saying the same thing about Giannis....

Just the flavor of the week right now.

Is what it is. Bron then everyone else.

I hope that Wemby has a chance to stay healthy. His body is setup for failure at some point, so happy to see him have nights like last night while he is healthy.
