I like it. You just need to add the words “fight me!” to your post.

Who is beating this guy?

Wemby if he stays healthy will rewrite every individual record in the books. He’s potentially the greatest player to ever play the game. He and Ohtani at the same time doing what they’re doing is history in the making.

There is 0% chance Victor stays healthy long enough to enter the chat

He’s the closest thing to Chamberlain we’ve seen. Gotta remember though… Wilt was also an Indoor hurdles champion. I love Wemby and pray he stays healthy. We the fans need this.

I started a Wembanyama thread a few years ago and I’m trying to dig it up but can’t find it

I mean if he stays healthy he’ll legit be in the GOAT conversation

It’s crazy to read about wilts records. Like how the hell do you score 100 points. But imagine Wemby playing against a bunch of 6’8 dudes.

Wemby is brittle. No big man goes to the floor 8 times a game and continues to get back up when he's as lanky as he is. He needs some meat on them bones and then we can talk about being mentioned as a Mount Rushmore type of player. He has to sustain what he is doing. Time will tell. His upside is unbelievable though.

Frenchy will never be respected enough to be the GOAT

I remember when this board mocked my GOATbanyama posts.
I was on this train from the beginning. Welcome aboard.

I truly believe that Wilt was the best athlete to ever play at the NBA level.
ETA: Wilt was kind of a freak of a human being. As evidenced by this blurb about a Globetrotter skit from the book "Wilt: Larger than Life" by Robert Cherry.
quote:
One Globetrotter skit involved Captain Meadowlark Lemon collapsing to the ground; instead of helping him up, Chamberlain threw him several feet into the air and caught him like a doll. Lemon, who at that time weighed 210 lb, later said Chamberlain was "the strongest athlete who ever lived".

There's no guarantee that them bones can support another 20lbs of muscle
Next season will be interesting because hes logging unreal minutes very deep into the playoffs.. He's never played this much - this intensity - in his life
He's only 14 years old so you would think he could handle it but we'll see
