The Democrats were elected to be anti Data Center by people that are anti Data Center.
Anyone with a brain knew that it was going to be a Blue Wave.
Do you think Democrats that were just elected are going to publicly relax their stance before they even take office?
These AI stocks were already overpriced, and now that Dems are in control they are absurdly overpriced.
Yesterday was a gift to anyone smart enough to sell, or better yet short.

The US can't afford to stop building out AI infrastructure if it wants to remain a global leader.

Looks like a buy signal to me.

While domestic regulatory roadblocks like a "Blue Wave" create temporary local bottlenecks, they do not change the core reality that global businesses must adopt AI to remain competitive. Tech giants are highly adaptable; if building data centers faces friction in certain U.S. states, capital will simply pivot toward friendlier international jurisdictions, nuclear-powered off-grid facilities, or advanced space-based computing infrastructure.

Furthermore, major market leaders are trading at forward profit multiples that reflect genuine revenue growth rather than an empty bubble, meaning any political pullback is a buying opportunity for long-term investors rather than a signal to short.

Yep. I will buying more nvda tomorrow, it’s been better to me than I ever imagined and it’s not going anywhere.

The mechanics of the trade are SO much more complex than you make it sound.

Neither of those are a priority for the party coming into power.

U.S. stock futures are flashing mixed signals early Friday morning as the market attempts to stabilize following Thursday's aggressive artificial intelligence sector selloff.

Dip-buyers are moving into the bruised technology space ahead of the highly anticipated October nonfarm payrolls jobs report.
Nasdaq-100 Futures: Up 1.2%, leading the pre-market rebound as battered semiconductor and mega-cap tech stocks attempt to steady after the index fell into technical correction territory.

S&P 500 Futures: Up 0.2%, gaining minor support from the partial technology recovery.

Dow Jones Industrial Average Futures: Down 0.9%, trailing the broader market and continuing to face downward pressure.

This

This is why IMO the anti AI/Data center push is coming from the one country that has the most to game by slowing us down in that race……China

IMO, it's political posturing to gain votes. Kind of like no more wars.

People don't want what they don't understand. Like me with crypto.

Without question. They will rebrand what data centers are, champion some portion of the closed loop water cooling they already almost universally use as some form of cleaner energy data centers, etc.

Like everything, they will also evolve and improve. I will bet that places that have unused buildings, like closed down walmarts or other big box places like that will start remodeling and using those spaces for smaller scale data centers. People hate the process of new things and are far too impatient. I'm fine with pushing back about having them super close to residential areas and all, but the movement to just not have them at all is beyond ridiculous.

Hell, build em in Bama.
Tubbs says we'll take all the data centers we can get!
