Crypto success stories also welcomed. I personally am in the middle of my journey with ABBV, XOM, MSFT, GOOG, AAPL and NVDA.. I’ve got a little BTC as well, and just went in pretty big on SPCX.

Biggest single play I’ve ever made was earlier this summer and currently sitting over 3x. Going to be tough to top it.

I dumped about $75K into VOO in March of 2020

It has more than doubled and is the bedrock of my portfolio. I've been adding to it since, it has done well.

My 30 year old Kobe basketball card collection. I peaked as an investor at 10 apparently.

Exaggerating to an extent but shits wild.

My dad told me to pay myself first.

30 years of investing in various stocks and other investments has resulted in the accumulation of wealth.

We got rich slowly.

Started with DRIPs.

Exactly, be consistent by paying yourself first. When you get a raise, bump your investments accordingly. I also learned yrs ago NOT to look at things daily or chase a bright shiny object. Look at them at the end of the month, and watch over the months and years (with contributions, dividends & gains) your balances increase.

Don't get spooked by downturns (housing mkt crash & COVID). It has been amazing to watch dollar-cost-averaging work very effectively over the last 30 years.

All the best to you. My investment was negative but life changing.
ENRON Stock under the advisement of a broker at Merrill Lynch.
(check it out)

I was able to take control of my finances and became a No-Load Mutual Fund Stock junkie. I am more favorable to the index funds today.

Yeah, my collection of Barkley cards probably isn’t up there very much.

I had a friend growing up that collected Jordan cards. Unlike the rest of us, he kept duplicates and had over 900 cards.

When we all graduated high school, his dad confiscated the collection and put it in the safe. I’d be curious to know its current value.

If I had to pick one, probably NVDA. I started investing most of my money in tech starting around 2017.

This. Been in for 12 or 13 years. Certainly life changing!

VTI.

15% rate of return over the last ten years. Maybe not "life changing" in the sense of getting super rich, but I can confidently say that my retirement planning is sound considering that my investments are compounding consistently over time.

AAPL first bought in 2009. Has been a great ride. I also dropped a big chunk of $ into the COVID market in March/April 2020 with a bunch of stocks and that has been excellent.
