Too soon. If I was going to buy something right now it would be Chlorox, companies that help with telework (video conferencing, etc), any kind of online order companies (Instacart type companies

I’ve had some money set aside for a while and was torn between Clorox and Teladoc (TDOC). I went all in on Teladoc yesterday.

Up 15.7% today at close!

Ive been buying the shite out of the BCLI dip. Started buying in the 3’s just a couple months ago, and it finally started getting the attention it deserves. The sell off has really hurt the value momentarily.

I am dollar cost averaging in DIS and LOW. Also may buy AAPL, AMZN and XOM. Sold some VTI last week and bought back in this week much lower.

I have been waiting for the opportunity to get rid of my XOM for over a year. I have been long on it for 6 or 7 years but it is dead money. No real gains, only dividends.

I don’t get this. If you think there are alternatives that are likely to result or more gains, why not just sell and buy those instead? Not only does this seem like the sunk cost fallacy, with some major opportunity costs by not investing in better alternatives, but if these investments are in a taxable account then it seems even better to sell when there are either no gains to be taxed or better yet, losses to harvest against some other gains or even ordinary income (up to $3000).

I second that. I played it way back in the 1990's all the way to 2005. Talk about a lost of time. BIG POS.

It’ll go sky high if you sell.

Dividend stocks

XOM, JNJ

Even with the correction and great price you aren’t going to kill it with either but compounding long term from either should reap rewards. If you are looking for short term gains with either I would look elsewhere based on my experience with both.

I completely agree that it is illogical. I go to sell and reanalyze but always come to the conclusion that it should be a good long energy position.

For those looking to enter XOM, look at the 5 year and think about the money you could have made elsewhere during that period. When/if oil turns around it will be a different story.

Anyone thinking about CCL? Nice yield and getting hammered as bad as anything. The travel/cruise industry will rebound at some point.
