For me:

quote:

Personal Rate of Return from 01/01/2012 to 10/02/2012 is 13.4%

For my wife:

quote:

YTD, you are earning 13.59 % back on the money you have invested in your 401K!

From first glance, I am pleased with our return rate, but are most in a similar situation today?

Without knowing where someone's account/s and holdings are on the risk spectrum the results are not comparable.

Moderately Self-directed Roth: 36%

Started account in early August and have been in etfs, most significantly tracking sp500 but also various sectors. Was on pace to hit 50 billion at age 65 at one point. Hopefully that trend sustains. I just need Plosser to stfu.

ETA: portfolio beta is less than 1

I see what he's saying now this past August instead of a year. From August til now the market has been very bullish and a little inflated IMO.
