Even though indexes are at all time highs, Tesla has dropped all month posting close to a 60 point loss. AT the beginning of 2023 this stock was on the tail end of a massive sell-off that reversed and almost tripled it's price.

Just curious to know if anyone is willing to step in front of the current avalanche and buy some TSLA on the cheap?

Cheaper than it was a few weeks ago, sure, but it’s not cheap by any traditional metric.

50x PE with declining margins and declining growth. So cheap!

I'm watching it closely and trying to decide when to buy.

To be fair some form of premium will be there for TSLA as long as Elon is at the helm.

Ferrari has a P/E of around 45 which is interesting.

But it’s been very expensive relative to GM / Ford / Toyota and is still up massively over the past 5 years.

Lots of funds were looking for a reason to sell since they don’t like Based Elon. They couldn’t when it the stock was hot but are leaving now. Probably better for stock in long run to get to a more realistic level.

Also makes Elon look smart for selling stock at highs to purchase X.

They slightly missed on earnings.

The Chinese EV cars are going to take some of his sells.

My finance knowledge is not on the average MT level, but on a consumer level, if I'm in the market for an EV and Tesla was an option, I wouldn't even consider something Chinese built. I would think one of the other more established car manufacturers would be an option before anything chinese related.

That’s because you are not one of a billion chinamen who would consider buying a Chinese car

I’m buying while it’s low- the majority of other brands out in the process of discontinuing their charging stations and are just going to use Tesla’s’ charging ports.

This should be the first quadrillion dollar market cap company. Truly revolutionary to have cars that can taxi people with autonomous driving while you're at work. First cars ever that are appreciating assets. Unbelievable.

Didn't give specific guidance on the call yesterday but said to expect decreasing demand this year so you gotta think it'll fall a good bit farther over the coming months.

Only 1% revenue growth for car sales yoy so expect that to turn negative and margins to further erode.

I think that Tesla is a balloon that Wall Street inflates/deflates periodically so they can profit on options

He made it great, but his wackiness is a big reason I would not be comfortable putting a lot of $ in it. I'd worry every day that he would say some dumb shite on X that would blow up the company.

Although I’m not in the stock currently (but I may be at 4:01PM today ), I do see that as a growth area going forward. It appears that Tesla chargers may become the EV industry standard.
