I heard the same segment and think this might be a bit misconstrued. That particular comment was in regards to a statement Joe Biden made about wealthy people needing to "pay their fair share". And how he hated that they continue to use that non-defined charge when the upper tax bracket pays 40% in addition to all the other massive taxes in places like CA and the NE.
So, yeah, I think this is misplaced. And I would think that most of the right leaning folks on TD would agree with his statement.

Leon Cooperman supported this guy for President
"I'll be richer tomorrow if Trump wins. I'll probably be poorer tomorrow if Biden wins, but I voted my values," Cooperman told CNBC on Wednesday.

Read that and understand that is the exact same way almost every prominent politician thinks of you

I just don’t get what is happening. I have no problem with hedge funds getting theirs, and I don’t have a problem with retail investors getting theirs either. I just wish the laws and regulations were equal for all, which would mean giving retail investors more power
and fewer barriers (like those stupid qualified investor barriers for lots of investments).
Ironically AOC appears to have a more resolve position on this than those who are outraged over retail investors getting theirs.

I know AOC is the boogeyman to a lot of people, but as best I can tell her entire platform is that she is 100% for the little guys

It’s not that she’s ever been against the little guy, it’s that she’s a complete dumbass who is a puppet and the way she wants to “help” the little guy aka “socialism” in the end only helps the rich get richer and the elite solidify their power within the system while effectively killing the middle class and making everyone besides the 1% equally poor and miserable
