Wouldn’t any shorter afraid of a squeeze just be buying at these prices and negating the chance of a squeeze?

Big money will find a way to protect their investment like a cornered animal, this time in short action coverage, and the last 5 days is proof of that. The next few days will test where the floor is, don't count on a squeeze.
