Sir, I say this with no malice, my vision is phenomenal
There are sell offs that are going to occur all the way to the 180 day period
Expected, naturally and normally
Plenty of market factors come into play.
Not sure why I'm responding to a twit, but do you live day to day on the value of every stock you own?
You're a frickin imbecile. I clearly said I'm not selling after 180 days, and that I'll be happy if this stock is priced at 150 at that time.

Why is SPCX down 4.3% so far today.(all the way back down to $142.)?

I'll repost what I said on the previous page.
quote:
I don't know, but it's gotten back down to around the $150 initial price (or lower) every time a new tranche of stocks has been released. I bought more shares the last time this happened around October 10th (120 days after IPO).
Should be about 7% more shares released around October 25, and then there is a potential for up to 28% more shares to release after their Q3 earnings call in November.
The remaining share restrictions all lift 180 days after the initial listing, including the around 60% of shares that were held pre-IPO (include Elon Musk's shares).
Can find all this info here: LINK
There will be dips after every new tranche of shares is released. So far, the stock has held up and rebounded after every tranche.

What is your buy in price with all this new stock releases? Picked some up at $148 and felt pretty good about it….just curious if I need to free up some more $ to DCA

Honestly I try to buy anytime it gets back below $150. I'm not a "pro" stock trader by any means, but I'm willing to take a bet that Elon Musk's life's work is going to work out long term. If I'm wrong, I think it will still be easy to justify my choices given his track record.

Elon is a bottleneck solver. If he can even do a 1/3 of what he wants to do in 2027 SpaceX stock is going to move significantly.

Why are you concerned with a stock you don't believe in, other than to troll? alter

Lol, it's almost like stocks move all the time for any reason

I'm always looking to take new positions.
Was wondering why SPCX is floundering while the Nasdaq has been rallying.
Didn't mean to upset anyone that's losing money.
Good luck out there friendo

Dude, are you a complete idiot? 1) the nasdaq isn't rallying and has been choppy for at least 3 months. 2) SpaceX shares have been unlocking since then and it is a testament to the stock that it's actually holding pretty steady. 3) Anyone who questions the price of a stock less than a year after IPO shouldn't even be investing and definitely shouldn't be showing their ignorance all over this board.

So in 10 years SPCX will have a $20 Trillion Market Cap?

Space X will basically be equal to 2/3 the entire economy... That seems unlikely

In 2015 we had no Trillion dollar companies. Today we have 15 or so. Do you really believe in 10 years that our economy will still only be 30 Trillion with all the AI buildup? Lol, you can refuse to believe your lying eyes if you want to, but it's a horrible way to make money.

The US economy over the last 10 years which has been done exceptionally well has grown 76% since 2015. Around 30% when adjusted for inflation.
So even if it keeps pace the entire economy would be around 50 trillion.
Space X would be worth 40% of the future economy at 20T. Extremely unlikely

SPCX is going to be part of the Moon and Mars economies, not just the USA.
Yes, I’m joking, but at the same time, it does raise some interesting questions. Reality sometimes tracks science fiction. Looking at The Expanse and For All Mankind, what do places like the Moon and Mars eventually become? International territories? U.S.-controlled? Or eventually self-governed?
We’re talking decades, if not centuries, into the future. But with advances in AI and robotics, combined with SPCX’s rocket ambitions, that future feels like it’s getting closer rather than further away.
And that’s part of what makes SPCX so interesting from a valuation standpoint. If space ultimately develops into its own economy, SPCX’s potential market isn’t going to be limited to the U.S. economy, or even the global economy as we define it today. You could eventually have entirely new economies built around transportation, communications, infrastructure, energy, mining, manufacturing, and settlement beyond Earth.
Obviously, that’s looking way down the road, but if SPCX becomes one of the companies building and operating the infrastructure that makes those economies possible, valuing it solely against today’s U.S. economic growth could eventually miss a big part of the picture.

The valuation being quoted was specifically 10 years from now.
As everyone finds out quickly with the mega large cap companies.. Execution can be perfect, like Nvidia, but the stock won't move and keep the same valuation as it has today.
Mostly because there is not enough free capital to move it, and that is so large that the concentration risk because insurmountable.
So yes there is clearly a timeline where space x executes perfectly and the stock does nowhere near 10x
