I regret that I don't have more to throw at SPCX right now. I have timed my dips pretty well, though. Cost basis under $140 and up over 17% total. I wish I had 10x as many shares. 25x even.

Same I bought spcx last week and can kick myself for not doubling the shares purchased

It should dip again as more shares are released. You still have time.

I don't know, but it's gotten back down to around the $150 initial price (or lower) every time a new tranche of stocks has been released. I bought more shares the last time this happened around October 10th (120 days after IPO).
Should be about 7% more shares released around October 25, and then there is a potential for up to 28% more shares to release after their Q3 earnings call in November.
The remaining share restrictions all lift 180 days after the initial listing, including the around 60% of shares that were held pre-IPO (include Elon Musk's shares).

TSLA earnings after the close. Assuming a merger is inevitable, is there any motivation for musk to try and suppress the TSLA share price? Models I’ve seen (ARK mostly) require a 30% TSLA premium today to make the merger value neutral for TSLA holders but that number goes down drastically as the time frame extends. They do conclude though that no matter what the merger would ultimately benefit holders of both (TSLA moreso than SPCX)
I suspect that if merger rumors heat up there would be a run on TSLA. That doesn’t benefit musk

If last nights earnings/guidance didn't move this stock then I don't know what it's going to take to get it back to its 52 Week High.
It still needs to go up 40% just to get back to where it was last summer.
IPO Price $150
Current Price $158
52 Week High $225

Sir, I say this with no malice at all, your vision is likely phenomenal, all the way to the tip of your nose
You're referencing 52 week highs on a stock that has been on the market for a few months?
That high was reached briefly during the IPO's initial offering and settled eventually below what you could buy it for on Day 1.
I'm presently still within the 180 days that doesn't allow me to sell and will be happy if it sits at 150 at that time, but it doesn't matter b/c I have no plans to sell any time soon.
Please sit this one out

I'd rather read what knowledgeable people have to say on the subject than anything you or I can provide, so I'll keep my thoughts to myself if you will do the same.

they just have to keep doing what they're doing. Every month billions of dollars hits investment accounts and needs to find a home. i never bet against musk, on anything. I'd argue Musk is almost never wrong, he's just consistently 5-15 years too early.

This isn't a day flip stock. This is a 12- to 20-year plan. I'm still buying, my guy.
