The company doesn't have any new capital. Only its shareholders have new capital.

The company can only get new capital by issuing new shares, known as a public offering.

Management should be able to retire in luxury now when they file for bankruptcy...assuming they personally own a lot of stock.

They have no new capital, they could in theory offer new shares.

My suggestion would to float a very low amount at a very high price i.e. try and set the market.

1,000 at $10,000,000 a share.

Gamestop doesn't get any new capital for their stock price rising unless they issue new shares (which they have not).

I think I read somewhere that a few of the big wigs couldn't sell until March. Which has got to be absolute torture.

If this doesn't benefit them at all why would it matter if their stock was shorted into the dirt?

I saw someone earlier say the hedgefund guys shorting this stock was forcing Gamestop out of business earlier rather than later. Something about how the hedgefund wanted to say they killed Gamestop.

IMO I give Gamestop 10-15 years before they're done and that might be generous.

Amazing how many people don’t understand how the stock market works.

Amazing how many people investing in GME don’t understand what’s even happening with GME.
