I just watched an ad for ETH before a porn video. Do with that what you will.

A lot of those are going to be cracked down on by the SEC pretty soon. So for a lot of ICOs even if you got in they may be gone eventually anyways.

the tokens I built didn't do much. but man that hype and the over excitement was crazy. could have made a million just by saying its garbage and you'll buy it anyways.

Man, I expected to check Coinbase just now and see everything up a bit.......but nope, back down it is. Cashing my BTC in at $9,9xx was a good bet. If ETH keeps dropping, I might have to think about getting a little bit. Hard to believe I first got into crypto with ETH at $998 and thought it was a steal.......

I have been reading tons of articles and nobody has any good explanation for the consistent slide.

Any bad news related to ETF's should have been long absorbed by now.

The only three explanations I've heard that make any sense:

1. Nobody still has any clue about crypto markets and trying to make sense of them is a fools errand.

2. Market manipulation. Crypto is still heavily susceptible to market manipulation, as a huge % of the total coins are still held by a very small # of people. A few big sells and buys by an individual or two can move the whole market.

3. The people hoping to just get rich quick are tired of waiting and bailing out.

Yep, and still waiting for it to get back up there so I can break even. All in all at $900 I'd break even.

The earlier predicted 4-5k dip for btc back in March may be on the horizon.

I have yet to buy during this drop but I probably will if it falls below 5.

It’s a little bit of all of this IMO. I think everyone knew this ETF decision would get delayed. It’s now an excuse to tank. It’s always something with crypto. But make no mistake, it will be approved. It is backed by the CBOE. They will get what they want. Eventually. After that it’ll probably start a new craze again.

In the meantime, I think this is a buying opportunity are just hold on to what you’ve got, as long as it isn’t a shite coin.

Either that, or it’s all a bunch of useless shite and going to zero. So, who knows

Ouch......sorry, man. Hope you're able to catch it back up. No reason to be anything but patient now.

Yep......I was pretty shocked to see that. Sub-$100 is realistic in the not too distant future.

So it sounds like you hit the eject button in time, too, yes?

BTW, whatever happened to VET? Doesn't appear that anyone (OWS) got their Lambo yet........

depends on how you want to look at it. I took out my initial investment and some profit, but I still have quite a bit of money in it. And I've been betting on eth (traded in and out of it at dips for some "profits"). So yeah this sucks, but I guess it could have been much worse.

I'm sure most of the VET HOLDers are like some of us on here and are simply waiting on THOR to generate passive income for the next several years.

All of it is. HOLDers down 90+% in many cases, probably pushed a whole lot of people out for good.

Unless it all goes to zero in the next several months, we may be in some of the best entry levels that some of us will ever see again. Plenty of good buying opportunities out there. Personally I'm not in a position to add much, and I want to make sure there is a clear reversal before I start adding more in.

For those of you accumulating Thor now, how is it working? Are you seeing any production?

VET is at .01 right now (/BTC), so I would assume one could accumulate quite a bit if they wanted to now. Is it too late to get a node? Is it even worth doing? Seems the hoopla is all but gone.

ETA: Oops, VET is under .01 now.....

VET got to ~0.008 yesterday.

The market is down for every coin though, so I dont see the point in trying to figure out why any one individual coin is falling.

As I said before, hopefully this drop leads to a lot of the garbage coins getting liquidated. There's obviously a ton of projects that won't survive and we might as well start thinning the herd out now as we get closer to a decision on the ETF.

If you want to slow the bleeding stick your money into Tether or XLM. Those 2 seem to be holding steady.
