AI trade is melting the hardest.

People voted for this. Most ran on anti data center platforms. Wild times

I don't recall a scare about shutting down AI compute as part of his thesis

I'm beginning to believe reindustrializing the country will never happen. I get NIMBY for some industries like a paper mill, but when data centers are met with resistance in poor rural towns I just know the programming is near completion. It's like people have no idea where wealth comes from.

SOXX/SMH look nice here relative to the S&P. I just can’t see the semis continuing to get obliterated without it bringing the entire index with it either way. So might as well shift a bit of weight right now.

Some nice post election overreactions are always a fun time to get some good pickups. For all the talk the Dems have against AI and data centers, until they actually start getting rid of their assets and stakes in those fields, its just going to be talk to get votes.

The infatuation people have with Michael Burry is hilarious. Dude predicts a different crash once every 6 months for the last 20 years.

Some people are naturally pessimistic and others optimistic, and he is obviously the former. That character flaw has hindered his ability to be completely rational. He is nowhere near the top in terms of success in investing, hence the reason he had to shut down his fund.

With that said, I don't necessarily disagree with him on this one.

They made a movie about his legendary trade around the housing/banking crash.
Let me know when they make a movie about your legendary trades.

He's correctly predicted 100 of the last 3 corrections.
