I'd move to one of the smaller towns in NW Arkansas. Lots of great outdoors. Cheap. Good schools. There is an airport in Bentonville.

Seems pretty shitty to move when your kids are in high school just because you want to

The shitty part was making them go to high school in Louisiana. Should have pulled the plug yesterday. And today is better than tomorrow to rip that bandage off

Sounds like you just need to move to the Northshore.

Based on your criteria, NWA sounds like a great fit. I would move back if I could. It’s 57 degrees in Bentonville right now. Seasons are nice.

If there is a gap between HS kid graduating and lower school kids entering high school, wait and do it then.

From experience, I wouldn’t move away from parents unless it was for a great job.

I think cost of living is the biggest narrowing factor but I’m jealous of the thought exercise.

Smokey Mountains area (NC/TN)
Ozarks
Utah

Those were the first three that came to mind.

yeah but then you have to live amongst Bama fans which is a non starter imo. Like how Dallas is always eliminated from these types of discussions because of unbearable Cowgirl fans.

Nah, my wife and I enjoy it here but he would probably be looking at 3 kids in a private school. And for God's sake don't move to CO Springs, I was there this past weekend (we had considered moving there) and it has gone to shite over the past 5+ years and homeless peeps too many to count. And I sure wouldn't move to Boise at this point, either, and I am not saying this as a joke.

Southern NH like Dover or Durham.

About an hour from Logan in Boston.
Great outdoors activities.
Good public schools and safe area.

The only thing I'm not sure about is the swim club but there are tons of indoors sporting activities.
