There's at least a significant portion that Lanxess doesn't own.
I'm not familiar with this site but it says "The Arkansas Smackover lithium project area covers approximately 150,000 acres, near El Dorado, in southern Arkansas, US. Lanxess owns approximately 10,000 brine leases in the project area."
...on top of the AOGC hearing application (posted yesterday) requesting royalty determination and attaching the names of probably 1,500+ individuals considered "interested parties" just in Lanxess South (Phase 1) territory. If I'm missing something someone let me know.
I could report first hand if Lanxess would just expand 10 miles westward and swallow up my mineral acreage.

We seem to have really established support in the $4.30s-4.40s. Been accumulating in this zone for over 2 months now.
Down to $4.25 this morning

Yep, just got a warning about a 5% drop, any news? Or just everyone panicking over the global issues?

I know I jynxed us I guess by posting about the supports. By Monday we're indisputably no longer in "early Q3" and I guess people are getting fed up with the constant missed deadlines. Can't blame em. Trying to keep the faith and add here.

Yeh this is likely a 'missed another deadline' sell off.
I've definitely had better Friday's.
Very ready for SLI to start hitting their targets. This is definitely getting old.

Yes Axios just reported that the SLI plant will cost 1.27 billion to build and Exxon has moved into the area and will build a plant that will double SLI output.

If the overall market stays shite into next week and we still have radio silence from SLI, I could definitely see this falling back into the 3s. There's pretty strong support in the low-mid 3s dating back to 2021 when we sat in that range for a while. We've bounced off that area multiple times in the past year. If we get that low I'll probably try to load up.
ETA: If we plummet past the 3s I'll just shut up about support levels

An SLI spokesperson told Axios via email the company will soon release results from a feasibility study for its Lanxess project near El Dorado.

i wonder if the delay has more to do with the 90 day time limit to make a final investment decision that Iron Mike mentioned.
Maybe they are buying time trying to figure out that part

If they miss this deadline I’m bringing Gaucho back.

At this point take a guess which one is Standard Lithium, and which one is Exxon

Well good news is it’ll never get below 4.22 because I placed a buy order there.

What difference does it make who starts production first? The demand will still be there. The product will sell. The only down side is there is no profit till it’s built.

Quit announcing deadlines you can't hit.
