Never left, just nothing to say. The guys working on it are very optimistic, but who knows what they really know?

Rolling pretty good right now, one month chart looks nice. I think it’s priming for an anticipated mid-August PR.

I’m curious if the next PR is going to be a sell the news event though. I think the pre-FEED going well is just about baked into the price already. Those results won’t be published so we won’t know “how good” it looks, and the timeline when they PR the FEED award is basically gonna say no more news til 2023.

My gut is telling me to sell the next news event and buy back in sometime in mid Q4. Ain’t gonna do it though. I’m too confident in my lack of intelligence.

Damn, I thought that PR just released was gonna be the one. Just another conference participation.

I don't like seeing those meaningless reports. Companies that do that look like a joke to me.

"Elon called, we're going to sign some papers"

The only press that would make me wet the bed.

Why does SLI all of the sudden not give a damn what the rest of the market does? It's been green on some red days recently. Now the entire lithium sector is up 5% and SLI is red. I don't get it.

Fair question. I have seen it recently and have seen it for brief periods in the past and I do not get it either.

I have kept my position in LIT ETF which is a hedge for SLI, I suppose.

Yes, but a lot of the tech sector is down today and SLI is a tech company…

I fully understand. I have no other tech sector stock holdings. My equity portfolio is almost entirely S & P 500 Index which is an explicit recognition of my ignorance.

Been mostly climbing the last week or two. Feels like something more interesting than carbon posturing and conference attending soon.

The dem "green new deal" inflation fighter will be a disaster for most things, but a bit of a tail wind for SLI.

SLI don't need no stinking strip mines.

Bill should give lithium as a whole a boost, but is kind of a neutral when it comes to SLI vs other lithium sources.

Bill doesn't really care that SLIs process is cleaner or greener than the strip mine operations. It also doesn't favor domestic production as long as it'd sourced from us or from a free trade partner which would include Chile and Australia.

With that said if sli dle methods can be easily transferred to other brine sources and if there's a lack of development of DLE methods from other companies then yeah...

Domestic lithium should get at least some tail wind from this renamed "green new deal. I hope the PR company is pumping the SLI green factor!

"The Senate passed the Inflation Reduction Act over the weekend which covered the electric vehicle tax credit as part of the nearly $400B over 10 years in funding for climate and energy related programs."

"The $7,500 electric vehicle tax credit will be renewed in January of 2023 and last until the end of 2032. A striking new requirement is that qualifying cars must be assembled in North America and that materials and critical minerals in the battery must come from the US or a country with a free trade agreement with the US."

Strong close today.

Seems like the market is really anticipating some sort of news from SLI soon. Very curious to:
1) Find out if they're right
2) See the reaction

Will try to listen to the conference on Wednesday and see what they have to say.

Anyone following a technical chart on this right now and can tell us the resistance level?

I’m not a technician but if we were in normal times I feel like we could be at a key level here. That said does it matter? I feel like the macro environment is driving this train. So we may go higher but I feel it will be due to a good cpi and ppi number and not due to breaking through a level. I do not believe the numbers are going to be good and we will go down.

Disclaimer: Im a long term holder, don’t follow levels and have a lot of interest in sli going higher.

If numbers are good I think this goes higher.

Edited:

sorry for the shitty analysis please disregard. Ive been day drinking lol!
