You make a good point that I recently recognized. I stated the reason that contributed to my buying SLI on Page 593. I have had a strong belief for many years that financial planners and financial advisors are salespersons first.

Posters? The ones that are shareholders? Would we feel differently if the SLI stock were trading at a category of $12-$15 per share?

That was the good old days of sli and we didn’t even realize it

We were complaining about it being like 8 bucks a share

If there weren't others out there now working hard and fast doing the same thing, I wouldn't feel like:

I’m still holding my shares. I always planned until commercial production. I was hoping it would go a little faster though

Still holding 60,000+, for better or worse. I decided in 2020 to make SLI an investment of 3-5 years instead of a trade, and that’s still the plan. It’s a rough market right now and lots of quality stocks are struggling. I’ve seen nothing in the past year to change my mind that I’ll look back in 20-30 years happy that I held onto this stock.

I will revisit for sure. After taking a step back, I think the tech is there, is it a scaling issue? My gut says dead money for 18 months.

Still holding same amount of shares I was holding in December, still one of my largest individual stock positions.

It is correct that you can't buy SRNW and GVSI yet. That's why I said "then". GS has inferred that they will fall in line one after the other. And that's how I'm playing it.

Joking... But also not.

Sorry you feel that way.

FWIW, I still have all of my shares of SLI. Never sold any. Continuing to buy here and there as funds allow. And if other plays do as I think they will, I will continue to invest in SLI.

Do your own DD.

Now, excuse me, I'm going to go stand in the road for a while.

Even more annoying is telling people that you were selling and why, but being ignored and derided for taking 3000% profits. I don't think this necessarily directed to me and I still hold a substantial amount of shares, but one of the others that sold a large amount did so after that 3rd Q Lanxess call.

I was completely open about my concerns and when I sold. I sold into rallies and the stock price was higher when I finished than when I started.

I don’t think quite that long. 6 months? Very possibly yes. But all signs still point to a potential high profile news cycle in Q4. FEED. FID. Break ground on plant. JV final terms (if there is one). Potential Southwest Ark development.

All this is expected starting in Q4 - that’s when the stock price turnaround starts. Hopefully we hold these levels til then.

Sitting on 32,000 shares still. I've made my original investment back by flipping shares.

Hypothetical: Where is the share price if we learn 6 months from now that the pilot plant is operating at max capacity and actually selling lithium to LANXESS and/or Koch? I saw on stocktwits (not the most reliable) that SLI posted an operator job for lithium extraction.
