Hope my kids enjoy their coal in their stockings this year. If they don't I will use it to heat the house.

I would hardly call KOCH dedicating a lot of their resources to this venture "weak", but you're right about there being plenty of buying opportunities in the future.

I had no doubt that pre-market bounce to $9 was gonna fade fast. Analyst downgrade of ALB overnight causing a lot of the extra weakness in lithium stocks today.

was the koch investment that big?

If I remember correctly, $100MM was nearly enough to fund phase 1

I honestly thought the news of this investment would push the price a little higher, say 12-13 range..

Can anyone explain to me why they should care about their share price at this time? Why would they force out pr to make the price recover when they just got a huge direct investment, presumedly pushing off the need for a offering in the short term. They don't really do a lot of insider selling, so I don't see why they should care at this point.

I actually like it. It's still the accumulation phase, as long as the fundamental thesis is still on track, which it appears it is, who cares what the price is from day to day.

This isn't amc where the insiders are selling in droves and they are making offerings, there's no reason to play the pr game here imo, just wasted resources at this stage in the company's life.

I agree with you Pendulum, other than the fact that I like the confirmation of the price climbing to affirm my decision to dedicate a chunk of my resources to a specific company.

Every day I remind myself what you've just typed, and bought more as recently as Monday.

I like both of the PR's that came out today. Both acknowledge that they know their investors are listening and want to know that there is progress.

12 months ago we were waiting for the JV news to pop. No JV news is tolerable as long as we believe there is fundamental movement. Certainly the share price being 7.00 higher than 12 months ago makes the wait much easier to stomach. (But we've been teased with almost 11.00 up). The Koch involvement gives me more hope than any other single event in the last 12 months (and oddly enough, caused the lease price movement).

I really think the gimmick lawsuits are holding the price down. Good for buyers I suppose.

I suspect that those lawsuits is why they've hired a PR firm. Time to fight back.

Nice timing.

You may be right. However we have a very hard floor at the Koch entry so you’re not gonna have much ability to buy back in lower.

You may be very wrong though, especially if the right news drops. Seems risky if you like this long term.

not sure what the rally is about late in the day since it was -3 earler today.. Maybe its slow internet in rural communities slowing down the PR.

I actually just bought more at $8.44. This market has been slaughtered for a while. Some big names are down huge percentages. NVDA down 12% for no reason. Other market darlings like PLTR down 60%, Boeing is down 18% from recent highs and Disney down 22%. I think it’s starting to be oversold at bit, including SLI. Time will tell, but I liked it at $8.44.
