After hours volume was actually way more than 7 shares, but the shortened session on Friday led to some weird tracking of it on the CNBC app.

Yes, now that I think about it, I think I bought a couple thousand shares after hours Friday.

Friday about 10 minutes after the market opened I was watching the number of shares traded on CNBC and every once in a while it would actually drop rather than go up. Maybe it did the same AH.

Hopefully the big fish out there had their “Aha” moment, given Koch’s stamp of approval. If they did their dilegence over the weekend, we should see some of them big beautiful green candlesticks.

Opened down ~6.5% overseas.
Volume is already near daily average, less than a half hour in.
Not sure what’s going on over there.

ETA: Steady movement upward. Looking healthy. Someone must have taken profits

I knew that I had bought some Friday, but had forgotten that some of it was after hours.

Even if I hadn't, it wouldn't have helped the humor of seeing After Hours trading at 7 shares.

I'm not a baller, just like some SLI and hoping that the rest of the world wakes up this week and hears that Koch bought into this little lithium tech company that's going to change the face of lithium.

Copy / Paste from Yahoo.....FWIW below is conservative IMO. This will be $100+ in 2 yrs which barring drastic change or irrational runup is my minimum holding period

My back of the envelop evaluation:
SLI has published a
A) Post-tax US$ 989 Million NPV with 8% discount rate and IRR of 36% for the LANXESS-project
B)Post-tax US$ 1,965 Million NPV with 8% discount rate and IRR of 32% for the SouthwestArkansas (SWA) project
Ownership rate is 30-40% for A, 100% for B. Hence:
30%*989+1965= 2,261.7 US$ NPV
(NOT included yet net cash of ~20 mio US$, the value of IP and California's Bristol Lake project)

"Before Koch" there were 147,41 mio shares out (~150 mio to consider outstanding stock options )
: 2,261.7/150 = $ 15,08 per share
With Koch's investment of 13.480.083 common shares US$7.42 100.022.216
: 2,361.7/164 $ 14,40

Was Koch lucky? Very much. They doubled their money.

Above numbers are based on a Lithium price of about 14.500 USD/t.
However, Li prices have skyrocketed from 12.500 US$/t early this year to 31.000 US$/t as of Nov, 26.
With cost basically unchanged and doubling the sales price, the gross margin goes from 9,231 USD/t to 26,681 USD/t (i.e. for the LANXESS project)
With current Li prices CF per year is 558 mio USD (=higher than the CAPEX!!)

And considering all the new EV companies out there that haven’t even sold the first vehicle yet and the fact that lithium is not an abundant and cheap resource to attain, I don’t expect the price of lithium to decrease

I rec'd a response from SLI's Corporate Communications Dept (2 weeks later)

It reads, in part:

Thank you for your email and support as a shareholder of Standard Lithium. We are working hard to advance the Lanxess project and will provide market updates as milestones are reached. Regarding your questions, both Standard & Lanxess have the mutual goal of bringing commercial production of lithium online in a staged development approach at the Union County, Arkansas facility. We are currently negotiating the definitive commercial and related site service agreements required for a JV. Any material developments will be provided to the market via a news release as they occur.
