Alright baws I bought 100 shares this morning so I could be on the AUPH train here. Don't let me down!

Well there was still alot of questions around AUPH having the ability to go it alone. A successful company removes those doubts.

Who would be pinning Aurinia? Or BMY? And what mechanism do they do so with? And for what incentive?

Shorts about to get wrecked. Buying themselves time to get shares at lower price to cover their short losses

I would agree with you if it weren't for Benlysta getting bad data that makes Lupkynis the by default top dog for LN now. Potentially 34+ billion dollars in sales on the line over the life of the patent. I think the buyout will be higher than most predict. I'm putting it at 84 a share if BMY thinks they can get roughly 45% of all LN patients.

If they come out and say they aren't buying it, this could drop to $20 in a hurry...
Yeah the people who are buying right now are just straight up gambling. In the short term of this doesn't go through, we're back in the teens for sure. So if you're buying at this level, be prepared to hold for the long term. And at that point you better factor in your opportunity cost

A2 data and script numbers were gonna bring this to 26/27 organically so I don't see a fall back to the teens. If it does I'll just buy more but it's unlikely IMO.

That's fine, but that's not why some are buying right now.

yeah there's people on the last two pages of this thread that are basically betting on a coin flip + BB88's hunch that the press conference being moved to tomorrow = buyout

Which was definitely not investment advice! The first 30 pages of this thread was the time to take action haha

I have bought and sold several times

I'm fine investing the coin flip right now.

If this is still pinned at $30 following no news tomorrow morning than we know it’s happening, we just don’t know when.

I bought what I hope is my final 10 shares today.

I couldn't sleep for shite Sunday night, and I've had no problem waking up with the alarm at 5:15 this week

Put StockTwits away last night and read something else, which helped.
