I'm already so heavily invested that I can't justify buying calls. If anything I may buy a few puts just to hedge a little if the PR takes a few weeks to come out.

Same reason it dipped on the past few months
The main risk in the stock at this point in time is opportunity cost

The fact that BMY made a change to their Wednesday cc time THIS MORNING.

It just can’t be coincidental.
They might have approached Peter with $38 on Friday, and the deal wasn’t done in time for Monday morning. Or perhaps the timeline was always Wednesday. So if it’s pinned around $30 again, watch out.

I think you are right for the most part. The change in the BMY conference call coinciding with the SP being pinned at $30 is pretty telling. I am a little more optimistic on the price. I am thinking high 50s or low 60s.

By the way, I could see a serious decline in stock price tomorrow if no deal announced or no new rumors.
We all know that AUPH isn't worth $30 without A2 data, but it could be heavily priced in too.
Still $25 is more realistic than $30.

I just can't see someone paying 100% premium from today's share price, considering when the "negotiations" were announced it was trading at $20-21
